Description

The M4A1-S | Electrum in Field-Tested (FT) is marble green with gold and red accents, scuffed by now but intact. The band runs from 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Restricted skin, and the rifle drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. One quirk of that case: its Extraordinary items are gloves.

What the M4A1-S | Electrum looks like in Field-Tested

The base imitates marble: green swirls with veins of varying intensity, and no repeating pattern. Gold lines run along the edges, with red added to them in places. Marble hides wear better than any flat fill, since a scuff reads as one more vein. In Field-Tested the gold on the corners of the receiver suffers most and goes matte. The red accents and the marble itself hold up to the top of the range.

What to check before buying

Only two things matter on this skin:

  • the float, which shows how far the gold lines on the edges have dulled;

  • the stickers on the listing and any name tag on the weapon.

The marble artwork is identical on every copy, and the skin has no pattern variants.

Search by the float number rather than the wear name: the band from 0.15 to 0.38 is wide.

What the M4A1-S | Electrum costs in Field-Tested

The price ladder across wears is uneven:

  • Factory New costs almost six times more;

  • Minimal Wear costs about double;

  • Well-Worn is cheaper by about a third;

  • Battle-Scarred costs about two thirds as much.

Factory New is six times dearer because of the gold: in the clean grade it still shines, and that is what the extra money pays for. Going down, the saving is moderate, and the marble hides scuffs, so the lower grades look better here than on most skins.

Getting the M4A1-S | Electrum

The skin comes from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, and its collection is the same. The Dead Hand Collection appeared on March 11, 2026.

It can also be built through a trade-up contract. You hand in ten Mil-Spec skins from the collection, for example USP-S | Silent Shot or M4A4 | Zubastick. Back comes any one of the five Restricted skins in the set. The result is random, so the chance of landing the Electrum is one in five.

The contract also runs upward: ten Restricted skins give one Classified skin, either AK-47 | Crane Flight, P90 | Deathgaze or P250 | Kintsugi. The Electrum is one of the pricier skins of its rank, so the trade usually gets the cheaper ones, such as MP9 | Urban Sovereign and a Galil AR skin.

StatTrak and Souvenir

This finish has a StatTrak™ version. Souvenir copies exist too, but no Souvenir packages were released for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Copies like that are built with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Electrum

Marble green with gold is a dressy base, and it is easy to argue with it using stickers. Black and white ones keep their shape best. Gold ones merge into the lines on the body, and green ones sink into the marble. Large stickers read better than small ones on a texture like this, because small ones disappear in the veins.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested is worth buying for these reasons:

  • you want a handsome M4A1-S for CS2 at a reasonable price;

  • you care that wear does not spoil the look, and marble hides it;

  • you are putting together a counter-terrorist set in green and gold.

The gold in Field-Tested is already matte, and that shows in close-up screenshots. In a match there is no difference from the cleaner grades.
