Minimal Wear (MW) on the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch is the wear where the lime highlight on the ribs still glows across the whole rifle. The stretch of the scale here is 0.07 to 0.15. It is Classified rank, and the rifle belongs to The Spy Tech Collection. The M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch does not drop from cases.
What the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch looks like in Minimal Wear
The rifle is flooded with acid yellow-green: the suppressor, handguard, receiver, magazine, carry handle and stock are olive-green with a yellow cast. Bright lime highlighting runs along the ribs and edges, and red smears are scattered over the suppressor, by the magazine window and on the stock. The pistol grip and stock tube are left as gray factory plastic and metal, and the barrel between the handguard and the suppressor is dark with green streaks. Green lettering that looks like "GLITCH" is set on the stock tube.
The main feature here is not a drawing but the flood of color itself, with its lit-up edges. The highlight lies evenly along the raised parts: the handguard rings, the receiver edges, the edges of the carry handle and the corners of the stock. Wear hits it first, and the rifle "goes out" to a plain olive. In Minimal Wear the edges still glow in full, and only the stock corners and the top of the handle dim. The 0.07 to 0.15 band is tight on the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch, and the extreme listings differ only in the number.
Where the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch came from
There is no Workshop submission behind the finish: Valve made it itself. The Spy Tech collection was added to the game on July 8, 2026. In the update note Valve named two new collections at once: Spy Tech and Arabesque. In the Valve skin catalog the skin is number 1476.
What to check before buying
For the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch it makes sense to verify the following:
- the float within 0.07 to 0.15: toward the upper limit the stock corners go dull;
- the integrity of the lime highlight on the handguard rings and the receiver edge;
- what the previous owner left on the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch: stickers and a name tag.
The M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch does offer a choice by pattern. The flood of color is applied by hydrographic transfer and lands with a shift, so the smears differ from copy to copy.
What the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch costs in Minimal Wear
Factory New costs exactly twice as much. Field-Tested is about half the price, and Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are each about half the price of MW and nearly level with each other.
Among Classified M4A1-S skins this finish is fourth by price of fourteen. Only M4A1-S | Hot Rod and M4A1-S | Blue Phosphor stand above it, and their lead is measured in tens of times. The nearest below are M4A1-S | Decimator, which is cheaper by about two and a half times, and M4A1-S | Black Lotus.
Getting the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch
The set has no case: The Spy Tech Collection was never put into cases.
A contract for the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch takes ten skins one rank lower, all from the same collection. Two finishes share the Classified rank in this collection, the second being USP-S | Spiral Glitch.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch was released. Souvenir copies do exist, but no packages were made for this finish: they were made only for the map tournament collections. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch
The acid flood drowns almost any sticker: on yellow-green both light and warm colors vanish. Dark and black-and-white stickers work, and there is room for them on the magazine and on the receiver side. Leave the suppressor alone: it is taken up by the red smears and the lit edges.
Who this wear suits
Buying the M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch in Minimal Wear is sensible in these situations:
- you want a bright M4 for CS2 whose edges still glow;
- predictability matters: on a narrow band the listings resemble one another;
- the rifle goes both into play and into your CS2 inventory.
The extra over Field-Tested here is roughly double, and it is paid precisely for the intact highlight on the ribs.
