M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Battle-Scarred)

The M4A1-S | Hyper Beast in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the cheapest of the five wears and has the widest float band. It is Covert rank, the rifle drops from the Chroma 2 Case, and it plays for the Counter-Terrorists. Factory New costs 2.2 times as much, and Well-Worn comes almost level.

What the M4A1-S | Hyper Beast looks like in Battle-Scarred

A cold blue-teal field runs over the handguard, receiver and stock. On the magazine and the magazine well the paint changes to raspberry and orange with green inserts, and the suppressor stays dark and almost empty. Valve describes the artwork as a beast in psychedelic colors.

In Battle-Scarred the wear is deep. It begins on the handguard ribs and the upper edge of the receiver. Float is set at the drop, and between 0.45 and 1.00 there are many states, so copies at the extremes look different.

Where the M4A1-S | Hyper Beast came from

Rene posted the work to the Steam Workshop on March 8, 2015, under the title "M4a1 | Hyper Beast", and the database lists frontaLOBE as the designer. In the description the author writes that a lot of work stands behind the artwork, and asks viewers to rate it and add it to their favorites. The M4A1-S | Hyper Beast was released on April 15, 2015. The Valve catalog number is 430.

What to look at when choosing a Battle-Scarred M4A1-S | Hyper Beast listing:

• the float: the 0.45 to 1.00 band takes up 55% of the skin's scale, so comparing several listings makes sense;

The artwork takes up nearly the whole body, leaving little free space. The most even field is on the suppressor: it is dark and without pattern, so a sticker shows better there than on the busy receiver. On the blue handguard white and yellow stickers read, while green and pink ones get lost.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred makes sense for the M4A1-S | Hyper Beast when:
