The M4A1-S | Liquidation in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the longest of the finish's five wears, with a float from 0.45 to 1.00. It is a Restricted skin from The Genesis Collection. In this wear it sells for a price 10.91 times lower than Factory New.
What the M4A1-S | Liquidation looks like in Battle-Scarred
Valve describes the finish as a dark base with carefully chosen red and blue accents, which make the M4A1-S look lit up in diffuse light. In this wear the float scale of the M4A1-S | Liquidation sits between 0.45 and 1.00.
A span of 0.45 to 1.00 is long, and copies from its far ends look noticeably different. Wear is fixed at drop: a listing keeps the float printed on it. The artwork is applied identically across the whole run, so every difference between copies comes down to wear.
Where the M4A1-S | Liquidation came from
The skin arrived on September 16, 2025, the day The Genesis Collection was added to the game. Mei is credited with the design. The author n1 put the submission on the Steam Workshop as "M4A1-S | Quick liquidation" more than a year before release, on August 7, 2024. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1340.
What to check before buying
A few points decide which listing to take:
- float: the band covers a little over half of the whole scale, so compare listings near its edges by the number, not by the wear label;
- name tag and stickers already on this M4A1-S | Liquidation;
- StatTrak: a counter version of the skin exists, and it is sold separately from the regular one.
Every copy carries the same pattern, so the choice comes down to float.
What the M4A1-S | Liquidation costs in Battle-Scarred
This is the cheapest wear of the finish, and all the others cost more:
- Factory New is 10.91 times pricier;
- Minimal Wear is five times pricier;
- Field-Tested is 2.28 times pricier;
- Well-Worn is 1.47 times pricier.
Of the eight Restricted M4A1-S skins in Battle-Scarred, this one is fifth from the bottom by price. Glitched Paint costs about a fifth more, Electrum about a fifth less, and Nitro and Emphorosaur-S sit at half to six tenths of its price.
Getting the M4A1-S | Liquidation
The skin comes out of the Sealed Genesis Terminal.
To trade up into it, you put in ten skins of the rank below from the same set. The Genesis Collection holds five Restricted skins, so the chance is one in five.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A1-S | Liquidation does come with StatTrak. Souvenir packages were never released for this finish, because they existed only for tournament map collections. Still, a souvenir copy can be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why a rare souvenir copy turns up even for a finish that never had packages.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Liquidation
The base is dark, so light stickers read best on it. Red and blue stickers repeat the accents of the finish and can melt into them.
Who this wear suits
This wear of the M4A1-S | Liquidation is worth buying if:
- you want an M4A1-S for CS2 at the lowest price of the five wears;
- wear from 0.45 upward is acceptable and a premium for a cleaner grade is not;
- you want a dark base under light stickers and the condition of the paint does not matter.
