For the M4A1-S | Mud-Spec, Minimal Wear (MW) occupies a narrow band from 0.07 to 0.15, only 11 percent of the scale. This is an M4A1-S in swamp-brown camouflage: Industrial Grade rank, The Anubis Collection. The skin has no case. It came out of the Anubis Collection Package and from tournament souvenir packages.
What the M4A1-S | Mud-Spec looks like in Minimal Wear
The camouflage covers every part at once: suppressor, handguard, receiver and stock. The background is dark olive and brown, and the blotches are lighter, with a sandy-gold shimmer. The blotch edges are blurred and the gloss is even. The barrel and grip are black.
The pattern is blotches only: no figures, no lettering. Light scuffs on the suppressor and the receiver edges are finer in MW than in the more worn wears, but on the dark background they still show. The float value is written into the item at drop and stays the same.
Where the M4A1-S | Mud-Spec came from
The M4A1-S | Mud-Spec entered the game on April 25, 2023. That is when Valve introduced The Anubis Collection: 19 weapon skins inspired by the new map in the Active Duty pool. The data names no author for the finish, and Valve did not write about the idea behind the skin.
The skin carries no emblems or lettering: the camouflage is built only from blotches of different sizes.

There are no two different patterns for the M4A1-S | Mud-Spec.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Mud-Spec
The dark glossy background takes any sticker. White and light gray stickers give the most contrast, while sandy ones merge into the blotches. The narrow float band means the look under the stickers hardly depends on the copy.
