The M4A1-S | Nitro in Well-Worn (WW) is one of the three lowest wears of the skin by condition. The float band of this wear runs from 0.38 to 0.45, which is 9% of the 0.06 to 0.80 range. The skin is Restricted and comes from The Safehouse Collection.

What the M4A1-S | Nitro looks like in Well-Worn

The rifle is gray-olive with orange parts: the barrel between handguard and suppressor, the gas block, the bolt area, the magazine catch and the trigger. There are no inscriptions, numbers or logos, and the paint lies only on separate parts rather than over the whole body.

In Well-Worn the float is high, and the orange on small parts has visibly come off: the bolt handle, feeder and magazine catch lighten before anything else. The gray base has not changed, so the wear shows only through the missing orange. This copy dropped with its float and keeps it unchanged.

Where the M4A1-S | Nitro came from

Valve drew the M4A1-S | Nitro itself, and no Steam Workshop submission was made for it. The skin appeared in November 2013 with The Safehouse Collection. Its number in Valve's catalog is 254.

What to check before buying

Before buying the M4A1-S | Nitro, check the following:

• the float inside 0.38 to 0.45, a narrow band in which listings barely differ;


• how much orange is left on the barrel and gas block;


• the name tag and stickers carried over with the listing;

The pattern is fixed, and price does not depend on it. A spread that small, 0.38 to 0.45, leaves no reason to choose by float.

Well-Worn has little orange left, so a sticker easily becomes the main spot of color on the rifle. Bright stickers sit cleanly on the gray base, while olive and gray ones disappear. As the cheapest Restricted M4A1-S in this wear, the skin does not call for caution with a build.
