Description

The M4A1-S | Party Animal in Field-Tested (FT): a neon animal print that wear barely spoils. The wear band is 0.15 to 0.38. The skin is Classified, and its set is the Harlequin Collection, which has no case. Of the five wears, FT is the cheapest, even below the two lower ones.

What the M4A1-S | Party Animal looks like in Field-Tested

A bright neon animal print covers the whole body; the neon is saturated and glows more strongly than ordinary paint. The M4 carries spots and stripes in acid shades over a dark underlayer. The artwork is fragmented and high-contrast, with many borders between colors. That is why wear in FT barely reads: light specks get lost among the spots. Scuffs show at most on the edge of the receiver and on the suppressor, where the underlayer comes through. The neon areas hold their color up to the upper end of the range.

What to check before buying

Before buying an M4A1-S | Party Animal, look at two things:

  • the float, which on this print changes the look less than on most skins;

  • the name tag and stickers left by the previous owner.

The artwork does not vary and rare copies do not exist, so there is nothing to pay extra for in a "special" one.

There is still a choice within the wear: the 0.15 to 0.38 stretch is long, and the cleanest listings cluster near 0.15.

What the M4A1-S | Party Animal costs in Field-Tested

The skin's main quirk is that FT costs less than every other wear:

  • Factory New is about three times higher;

  • Minimal Wear is about double;

  • Well-Worn is higher by about a quarter;

  • Battle-Scarred is higher too, by about a tenth.

The two lower wears cost more than FT although they look worse. The reason is band width: this skin's float ceiling is 0.60, so FT takes about two fifths of the whole scale, while Well-Worn takes about an eighth. It is the cheapest way to get the skin, and outwardly it does not fall short of the lower wears.

Getting the M4A1-S | Party Animal

The M4A1-S | Party Animal does not drop from cases: the Harlequin Collection has no case, and the skin is issued as a drop for playtime. The Harlequin Collection appeared on January 21, 2026.

Trade-up is the remaining route. A contract takes ten Restricted skins and returns one Classified skin. The set has two Restricted skins, the AWP | Exothermic and the USP-S | Sleeping Potion. The set's only Classified skin is this M4, so the contract returns exactly it, with no lottery. A contract for the M4A1-S | Party Animal is possible, and the wear of the output comes from the inputs.

There is no gain in the trade: ten Restricted skins cost more than a finished copy. The point lies elsewhere, in dialing in the float you need rather than hunting for a ready listing.

StatTrak and Souvenir

StatTrak was never released for the M4A1-S | Party Animal. Souvenir copies exist, though this finish had no packages of its own: those were made for the tournament map collections alone. The Souvenir-O-Matic builds them, adding gold tournament stickers and a player's autograph to a regular skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Party Animal

The print is noisy, and craft on it almost always loses. If you do apply stickers, make them large and single-color, because small ones sink into the spots. Black and white work best, as they give contrast on acid shades. Colored and holographic ones compete with the print and look accidental.

Who this wear suits

This wear of the M4A1-S | Party Animal makes sense when:

  • you want a bright M4 for the Counter-Terrorists at the lowest price in CS2;

  • it matters that the skin be seen in a CS2 fight, not just on inspection;

  • you want a Classified skin without paying extra for cleanliness.

An honest downside: the print is an acquired taste and does not fit a quiet loadout at all. On the other hand, in FT it costs less than in any other wear.
