This is the M4A1-S | Player Two in Minimal Wear (MW), and among Covert M4s in this wear it is the cheapest. The orange-and-teal graffiti is nearly intact, with wear limited to the finest details. The source is the Prisma 2 Case, and the collection is The Prisma 2 Collection.
What the M4A1-S | Player Two looks like in Minimal Wear
The M4 is painted from end to end, and each part carries its own motif. The suppressor has a silver tag on an orange-red field. The barrel and handguard are teal-blue with white strokes, and the magazine has orange-and-white fills with cartoon animals. The stock is orange-red with black ornamental lettering and a red buttplate. Valve describes the artwork as bright colors with animated versions of a GIGN operator and Pop Dog.
In Minimal Wear the finest white strokes along the round barrel and the suppressor dull first. The fills and the character on the receiver are intact. The wear scale for the M4A1-S | Player Two in this wear runs from 0.07 to 0.15. It is a narrow band, and the copies are almost indistinguishable.
Where the M4A1-S | Player Two came from
The author is kadzor, from the Steam Workshop. The submission was titled "CS20 | 2048 (Player Two)" and was posted on October 5, 2019. He ended the description with the hashtag #CS20. Valve put the Prisma 2 Collection into the game on March 31, 2020, and the M4A1-S | Player Two arrived in the same update. In the Valve catalog the skin is number 946.
What to check before buying
Before paying for the M4A1-S | Player Two, it is useful to check:
- float: at 0.07 the strokes on the barrel are almost whole, and toward 0.15 they lighten;
- the receiver edges and handguard rings, where the paint starts to come off;
- stickers and a name tag the M4A1-S | Player Two inherited from a previous owner.
There is no pattern variance on the M4A1-S | Player Two: what one listing shows, the rest show.
What the M4A1-S | Player Two costs in Minimal Wear
The neighboring wears, set against this one:
- Factory New costs about 2.35 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs about an eighth less;
- Well-Worn costs practically the same;
- Battle-Scarred costs about an eighth less.
The price order does not follow the wear order: Well-Worn costs the same as Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested is cheaper than both. Minimal Wear takes 0.08 of the 0.84 scale, about ten percent.
Of the eleven Covert M4s in this wear, the skin is the cheapest. Vaporwave costs about a fifth more, Golden Coil one and a half times as much, and Mecha Industries, Chantico's Fire and Hyper Beast twice as much.
Getting the M4A1-S | Player Two
The Prisma 2 Case is where the skin drops from. The M4A1-S | Player Two can also be built by a trade-up contract of ten skins one step lower from one collection. The Covert rank of the collection goes into knife crafts as well, for four models: Navaja Knife, Stiletto Knife, Talon Knife and Ursus Knife.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A1-S | Player Two has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages came out for the skin; a Souvenir copy is made by hand through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Player Two
For a craft, large stickers on the teal parts of the handguard fit well. White and black ones read better on such a base than colored ones, and small graphics get lost among the tags. The yellow character on the side of the receiver is best left uncovered.
Who this wear suits
The M4A1-S | Player Two in Minimal Wear is a reasonable buy in these situations:
- you want a bright Covert M4 for CS2 at the lowest price among Covert skins in this wear;
- a nearly whole artwork matters, without the factory price;
- for CS2 you are choosing a craft on a large teal background.
If the artwork has to be free of a single mark, you need Factory New: it costs 2.35 times as much.
