This is the M4A1-S | Player Two in Well-Worn (WW), with a float between 0.38 and 0.45 on a paint scale that ends at 0.84. It is a Covert rifle and drops from the Prisma 2 Case. The price of this wear barely differs from its neighbors.
What the M4A1-S | Player Two looks like in Well-Worn
The rifle is painted from end to end like a wall of graffiti: turquoise and orange-red fills, with tags and cartoon characters laid over them. The suppressor is orange-red with pink splotches and a silver tag, while the barrel and handguard are turquoise blue with white strokes. The receiver carries a collage of blue, orange, yellow and white, and on its right side sits a yellow character with a mask for a face. The magazine shows cartoon animals.
In Well-Worn the thin white strokes on the barrel and suppressor are already worn away, and the edges of the receiver and the handguard rings have lost paint. The large fills and the yellow character hold on longer. The float was fixed at the moment of the drop.
Where the M4A1-S | Player Two came from
The finish was drawn by kadzor, whose submission "CS20 | 2048 (Player Two)" appeared on the Steam Workshop on October 5, 2019. The author calls the work cyberpunk art, made in honor of the idea of CS:GO skins and out of love for the game and the Workshop. The picture shows a cartoon GIGN operator and a dog, the canonical POP DOG; the author writes that the team fights for the win, and the nimble dog likes to get under everyone's feet.
Valve released the Prisma 2 Collection on March 31, 2020, and the M4A1-S | Player Two has been in the set since launch. In Valve's catalog the finish carries number 946, and the update note mentions the Prisma 2 collection.
What to check before buying
On an M4A1-S | Player Two listing, check these parameters:
- float: in this wear it falls between 0.38 and 0.45;
- the condition of the yellow character on the right side of the receiver;
- a name tag and stickers, if any are already on the rifle.
Pattern cannot guide the choice, because every listing shows the same one. Across 0.38 to 0.45 the extreme listings differ in the number and nothing else.
What the M4A1-S | Player Two costs in Well-Worn
Factory New is two and a half times dearer, and Minimal Wear an eighth dearer. Field-Tested costs the same, and Battle-Scarred is a few percent cheaper.
Among Covert M4s in this wear, the skin is third from the bottom of ten. Only Vaporwave and Golden Coil are below it, while Hyper Beast, Mecha Industries and Chantico's Fire cost twice as much. The top of the row is held by Printstream, Welcome to the Jungle and Imminent Danger.
Getting the M4A1-S | Player Two
It comes out of the Prisma 2 Case.
A trade-up also gets you the M4A1-S | Player Two: ten Classified skins from anywhere go in, and the result is decided by the collection of one of the inputs. Ten from The Prisma 2 Collection is the player's choice, and then the odds are one in two. Five Covert skins of one type can also go into a craft, which returns an item with the ★ mark.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the M4A1-S | Player Two exists. It is not in any Souvenir package.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Player Two
The finish is busy and covers the whole weapon, so stickers compete with the artwork. Large stickers with a black outline read well; small badges get lost in the colored fills. The dark carry handle and handguard rings leave a few free places.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn on the M4A1-S | Player Two is worth buying on these terms:
- you want a motley M4 for CS2 with graffiti and characters;
- wear on the artwork is no problem: the large fills and the yellow character stay visible;
- the middle of the scale matters more to you than its edges in CS2.
