The M4A1-S | Printstream in Minimal Wear (MW) has a float of 0.07 to 0.15 and is the second step from the top. Factory New costs 1.5 times as much, and the three lower wears are cheaper by 1.4 to 1.9 times. It is a Covert skin, drops from the Operation Broken Fang Case and is a Counter-Terrorist weapon.
What the M4A1-S | Printstream looks like in Minimal Wear
The model has two zones. The middle, white with a cream tint, takes in the handguard, receiver, carry handle and magazine. The ends are dark: barrel, suppressor, front sight and grip are dark olive and unpainted. The border between white and dark follows the seams of the parts.
The whole white part is covered with fine gray typography: halftone dots, technical lines, small symbols. The skin looks like a printer's test sheet. In Minimal Wear the print is intact almost everywhere. The white only begins to yellow along the edges: on the handguard ribs, at the corner of the receiver and at the bottom of the magazine. The thin lines tear first in exactly those places. Wear is set at drop and does not change afterward.
Where the M4A1-S | Printstream came from
The Operation Broken Fang Collection, with this skin in it, came out on December 3, 2020, and the M4A1-S | Printstream arrived with the same update. JTPNZ, a Steam Workshop author, made it, and Valve's skin catalog numbers it 984.
What to check before buying
Points worth a look in a listing:
- the float: you can buy the M4A1-S | Printstream with a float from 0.07 to 0.15, which is 8% of the skin's scale;
- stickers and a name tag already on this copy;
- the edges of the white and the integrity of the fine lines on the handguard ribs.
The scale gives this wear only 0.07 to 0.15, so copies look alike. They share one artwork and differ only in wear.
What the M4A1-S | Printstream costs in Minimal Wear
The other wears, measured against Minimal Wear:
- Factory New costs 1.52 times as much;
- Field-Tested is 1.45 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is 1.41 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 1.86 times cheaper.
Of eleven Covert M4A1-S skins with a price in this wear, the Printstream is third from the top: eight cost less and two cost more. Only the two priciest skins of the rank sit above it, and they cost many times more. The nearest one below, M4A1-S | Fade, is about a seventh cheaper, and M4A1-S | Cyrex a quarter. M4A1-S | Hyper Beast costs half as much, and the cheapest in the rank are M4A1-S | Player Two and M4A1-S | Vaporwave.
Getting the M4A1-S | Printstream
The direct source is the Operation Broken Fang Case. A trade-up works too. Ten skins from the next rank down in the same collection go in, and the collection has two Covert skins, so the result is one of two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the M4A1-S | Printstream exists. No souvenir packages were released for this finish; they were made only for tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Printstream
The white field shows color at once, so black, red and blue stickers read, while white ones get lost. The print is fine, and a large sticker covers several of its elements at a time. The magazine and the carry handle suit best, since the artwork is sparse there.
Who this wear suits
The M4A1-S | Printstream in Minimal Wear makes sense when:
- you want a white M4A1-S for CS2 with the print intact, but without the factory price;
- the cream tint and yellow edges do not bother you, since wear here is slight;
- the choice is between the top step and the next one, and Field-Tested is 1.45 times cheaper.
