The M4A1-S | Wash me plz in Minimal Wear (MW) is the second cleanest of the five wears and also one of the cheapest. It is Industrial Grade, from The Overpass 2024 Collection, and this M4A1-S plays for the Counter-Terrorists in CS2.
What the M4A1-S | Wash me plz looks like in Minimal Wear
A gold-and-sand hydrographic coating covers the whole body, and the suppressor is painted in the same tone with brown streaks. The lower handguard and the grip take a lilac tint. The barrel and the stock tube stay dark blue. Brown finger-drawn strokes mark the side of the receiver.
This wear of the M4A1-S | Wash me plz is assigned a float of 0.07 to 0.15. The coating is nearly intact: light scuffs show on the raised ribs of the handguard and on the carry handle, and the artwork on the side reads in full. Wear is set when the skin drops, and a copy keeps it afterward.
Valve's caption on the description is "Nothing a little elbow grease can't fix". On Minimal Wear the dirt looks just like that: painted on, but not ground in.
Where the M4A1-S | Wash me plz came from
The M4A1-S | Wash me plz is Valve's own work, and the Steam Workshop has no entry for it. It appeared on October 2, 2024, when the Overpass 2024 Collection was added to the game. Its number in Valve's catalog is 160.
What to check before buying
Before buying an M4A1-S | Wash me plz, a few points are worth checking:
- float: near 0.07 the coating is cleaner, and toward 0.15 there are more scuffs on the handguard ribs;
- the name tag and stickers this M4A1-S | Wash me plz already carries.
Inside 0.07 to 0.15 there is no better copy to hunt for. The wear takes up 14% of the skin's scale, and the scale itself ends at 0.58.
What the M4A1-S | Wash me plz costs in Minimal Wear
The other wears of this skin relate to Minimal Wear like this:
- Factory New costs almost twice as much;
- Field-Tested costs about two fifths more;
- Well-Worn costs almost a third more;
- Battle-Scarred costs about a sixth less.
On this skin the price order does not follow the wear order: Minimal Wear is priced below Field-Tested and Well-Worn, though it is the better wear.
Of the four Industrial Grade skins for the M4A1-S, this is the cheapest in this wear. One of the others costs almost twice as much, M4A1-S | Mud-Spec more than four times as much, and another more than two orders of magnitude more.
Getting the M4A1-S | Wash me plz
No case holds this skin. Souvenir copies come from the Budapest 2025 Overpass Souvenir Package.
In a trade-up contract the skin can only be an input: nothing in the collection ranks below it, so it cannot be produced that way. Ten of these skins yield one Mil-Spec skin, and the possible outcomes include Galil AR | Metallic Squeezer and MAC-10 | Pipsqueak.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A1-S | Wash me plz has no StatTrak version, but a Souvenir one exists.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Wash me plz
The coating in Minimal Wear is still intact, and stickers lie on it evenly. Black, white and dark blue stickers stand out on the gold-and-sand background, while gold and beige ones get lost. The best places for a craft are the magazine and the handguard, since it would be a shame to cover the strokes on the receiver.
Who this wear suits
Buying the M4A1-S | Wash me plz in Minimal Wear makes sense in three cases:
- you want the artwork on the receiver without scuffed paint, but not the Factory New price, which is almost twice as high;
- the skin is going into a craft in CS2 and you need an intact field for stickers;
- you want a suppressed M4A1-S for the Counter-Terrorists with only light wear.
