The M4A4 | Buzz Kill in Minimal Wear (MW) is a bright orange M4A4 where wear only brushes the edges. On this skin Minimal Wear covers floats from 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Covert skin from the Glove Collection. In CS2 the M4A4 | Buzz Kill exists in each of the five wears.
What the M4A4 | Buzz Kill looks like in Minimal Wear
An orange field takes up the receiver and stock, with yellow edges on it. The middle of the handguard and the gas block are black, and a black insert splits the design in half. The grip and the butt plate of the stock are olive green, and a yellow ring sits at the muzzle. The sights are gray, unpainted.
The side of the receiver carries small yellow lettering and marks, and the magazine a thin pale ornament. In Minimal Wear the lettering reads in full and the orange field is still dense. Look for wear on the muzzle ring and the edges of the receiver. Wear is set when the skin drops and does not grow.
Where the M4A4 | Buzz Kill came from
The finish was designed by DasDas, and its number in Valve's catalog is 632. The Glove Collection was added to the game in November 2016, and the M4A4 | Buzz Kill appeared in the same update.
What to check before buying
These parameters matter when buying the M4A4 | Buzz Kill:
- float: the 0.07 to 0.15 band takes up 11% of the skin's scale, which runs up to 0.70;
- the name tag and stickers, which stay with the listing on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill;
- the yellow ring at the muzzle, where light wear shows first.
The artwork of the M4A4 | Buzz Kill is fixed and does not depend on the copy. Between 0.07 and 0.15 the look barely changes, so listings differ little by wear.
What the M4A4 | Buzz Kill costs in Minimal Wear
Measured against Minimal Wear, the other wears stand like this:
- Factory New costs 1.56 times as much;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by a factor of 1.21;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of 1.33;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a factor of 1.36.
The steps between wears are small in both directions, and Factory New stands off by one and a half times. Counting the Covert M4A4 skins priced in this wear, thirteen in all, the Buzz Kill ranks third. Above it stand the M4A4 | The Coalition and the M4A4 | Eye of Horus, by about a third and a fifth. Below, prices drop sharply: the M4A4 | Royal Paladin, the M4A4 | Bullet Rain and the M4A4 | X-Ray cost over three times less.
Getting the M4A4 | Buzz Kill
The M4A4 | Buzz Kill drops from the Glove Case, and no other case holds it.
A contract is the route that skips buying a listing. Ten skins of the rank below from the same collection go in, and the M4A4 | Buzz Kill can come out. The result will be one of the set's two Covert skins. The skin itself also goes into a craft for gold gloves.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the M4A4 | Buzz Kill exists. No Souvenir packages were made for this finish. You can still build a Souvenir copy yourself: through the Souvenir-O-Matic, gold tournament stickers and a player autograph land on an ordinary skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill
The black middle of the handguard and the olive grip suit a sticker, since there is no fine artwork there. The bright orange drowns out warm stickers, and the lettering on the side of the receiver is better left uncovered. Light marks read best on black.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear is worth buying on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill when:
- you want saturated orange and intact lettering without paying one and a half times more for Factory New;
- choosing by float is not needed, because the band is narrow;
- you want the M4A4 for CS2, where light wear on the edges stays a small matter.
