The M4A4 | Buzz Kill in Well-Worn (WW) is the fourth of five wears, where scuffs on the orange are already obvious. The wear range for this skin runs from 0.38 to 0.45. It is a Covert skin in the Glove Collection, and in CS2 the rifle comes in each of the five wears.
What the M4A4 | Buzz Kill looks like in Well-Worn
The skin splits into three color zones. A saturated orange with yellow edging lies on the receiver and stock, black takes the handguard and gas block, and olive went to the grip. A yellow ring wraps the muzzle.
The sights stay gray. The technical lettering on the side of the receiver and on the stock is small, and a thin pale ornament runs along the magazine. In Well-Worn the orange fades at the edges and on the butt plate of the stock, and the yellow muzzle ring is already visibly rubbed. The planes with lettering still read.
Where the M4A4 | Buzz Kill came from
DasDas is the author of the finish. The M4A4 | Buzz Kill carries number 632 in Valve's catalog. The Glove Collection came out in November 2016, and the skin has been in it from the start.
What to check before buying
Points to settle when choosing the M4A4 | Buzz Kill:
- float: the 0.38 to 0.45 band takes up 10% of the skin's scale;
- stickers and a name tag the previous owner left on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill;
- the receiver edges and the ring at the muzzle.
The artwork on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill is one on all copies, so there is no particular one to hunt for. The 0.38 to 0.45 stretch is short, and the differences between listings get lost in the noise.
What the M4A4 | Buzz Kill costs in Well-Worn
Measured against Well-Worn, the other wears look like this:
- Factory New costs 2.08 times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs 1.33 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs 1.10 times as much;
- Battle-Scarred is level, with a gap of under three percent.
Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost the same, and the gap opens higher up. Among Covert M4A4 skins priced in this wear, this one is the dearest of twelve. The nearest below, the M4A4 | Eye of Horus, is cheaper by a few percent. The M4A4 | The Coalition is a quarter cheaper, and the M4A4 | Asiimov more than one and a half times cheaper.
Getting the M4A4 | Buzz Kill
The skin drops from the Glove Case; no other case holds the finish.
The M4A4 | Buzz Kill can be put together by trade-up: ten skins one rank down from the set go in. Two Covert skins sit in the collection, which makes the chance one in two. A gold glove is produced from five Covert skins of one collection, and this skin goes into that craft too.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A4 | Buzz Kill exists in a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were issued for this finish. A Souvenir copy can still be assembled in the Souvenir-O-Matic, which carries gold tournament stickers and a player autograph over to an ordinary skin.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Buzz Kill
On worn orange a sticker reads as a smudge, so the craft goes on the black parts of the handguard. Light and white stickers show well on black and olive. Yellow ones get lost next to the edges.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn is worth it for the M4A4 | Buzz Kill if:
- you want a bright M4A4 at the price of Battle-Scarred but with a narrower float band;
- scuffs on the orange do not bother you;
- the rifle is for playing CS2, not for a display case.
