Factory New (FN) is the one wear of the M4A4 | Cyber Security that costs sharply more than the rest. Its float band is 0.00 to 0.07, which is 7% of the finish's scale, and the scale runs to 0.98. It is Classified rank, and the skin is part of the Operation Broken Fang Collection.
What the M4A4 | Cyber Security looks like in Factory New
The finish is built from bright color laid over dark metal. The barrel, the front of the handguard, the top rail and the stock frame are dark gray, almost black. The back half of the handguard, the side of the receiver and the magazine are painted turquoise with yellow, red and white. The grip, butt plate and cheek rest are red, and a thin red ring sits on the barrel behind the muzzle device.
In Factory New every edge is intact: the edges of the receiver, handguard and magazine show no gray scuffing. The characters on the receiver and magazine read in full, with small numerals and fragments of frames beside them.
Where the M4A4 | Cyber Security came from
The Operation Broken Fang Collection appeared on December 3, 2020, and the M4A4 | Cyber Security has been part of it since release.
Valve's note on the operation's launch lists what was new: Retakes mode, a separate Premier for the operation, new maps and weekly missions.
What to check before buying
For the M4A4 | Cyber Security, these are worth checking:
- float: this wear of the M4A4 | Cyber Security spans 0.00 to 0.07;
- the red grip, butt plate and cheek rest, which should be free of light patches;
- any stickers and name tag the copy in the listing already carries.
The pattern index changes nothing on the M4A4 | Cyber Security. The wear fits within 0.00 to 0.07, so listings look the same.
What the M4A4 | Cyber Security costs in Factory New
The other wears are cheaper:
- Minimal Wear, by about 3.3 times;
- Field-Tested, by about 4.8 times;
- Well-Worn, by about 4.8 times;
- Battle-Scarred, by about 5.1 times.
Among Classified M4A4 skins in Factory New, this one sits in the middle of a list of eight: three are cheaper and four dearer. Falak costs about 1.5 times as much. Desolate Space is almost half the price, Dragon King is 2.3 times cheaper, and Tooth Fairy is more than eight times cheaper.
Getting the M4A4 | Cyber Security
The place to find it is the Operation Broken Fang Case.
The second route is a trade-up: ten skins from the rank below. SSG 08 | Parallax and AWP | Exoskeleton, for example, qualify. With the ten taken from this collection, the output is picked at random from three Classified skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the M4A4 | Cyber Security exists. So do Souvenir copies, although no souvenir packages were issued for this finish: those were made only for tournament map collections. These copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Cyber Security
The colored panels cover half the body, and stickers look worse on them than on the dark parts. The rail above the receiver, the front of the handguard and the stock frame are free. One or two stickers are enough for CS2: in factory condition they sit on intact paint. White and red ones echo the signs, while dark ones merge with the frame.
Who this wear suits
Buying the M4A4 | Cyber Security in this wear makes sense if:
- you want a rifle with untouched red parts in your CS2 inventory;
- the 3.3 times gap to Minimal Wear does not bother you;
- you want the cleanest possible paint on the red parts.
For matches this premium is hard to justify: Minimal Wear differs by 0.08 on the scale and costs 3.3 times less.
