M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) (Field-Tested)

The M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) (Field-Tested, FT) is a Classified rifle skin with a red-and-blue dragon king over a teal-green body. Field-Tested is the most common, most affordable way to own it — a touch of honest wear on a design that still shows its color clearly.

Design

The look is all mythology: a red-and-blue Chinese dragon hand-painted across a teal-green base, a regal design that trades camo and graffiti for legend. It began as a community submission from the artist L'grand, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "A weapon worthy of The Monkey King himself."

M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish picks up light scratching along the edges and high points, but the busy dragon artwork and teal base absorb it well, so most copies still read colorful at a glance. The float can climb toward the middle of the 0.75 range here. This is the grade most players land on — the sweet spot between looks and price.

M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) Rarity

Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.

M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) Case and Collection

Part of The Chroma Collection, the Dragon King drops from the Chroma Case that arrived in January 2015. As a group the Classified tier unboxes around 3.2% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Chroma Case is no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from now.

M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) Patterns

Because the dragon and teal base sit the same way on every copy, the Dragon King has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ Dragon King, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the plain drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Chroma Case has never been a Major drop.

M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear (MW) while keeping nearly the same colorful look, which is a big reason it's the most-owned grade of the skin. As an affordable mid-tier M4A4 it's an easy entry point. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Dragon King look worn?

Only a little. There's light scratching on the edges and high points, but the detailed dragon artwork and teal base hide it well, so a Field-Tested copy reads as colorful and legible to most eyes. The red-and-blue dragon stays the clear focal point regardless of float.

Is Field-Tested the best value Dragon King?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than the higher grades but keeps almost the same look thanks to the busy artwork, and it's the most common version on the market. Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) go cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and accept heavier scuffing.

Which gloves match the Dragon King?

Its teal base with red-and-blue accents fits a cool, jade-toned loadout, so teal, green, or blue gloves work best — a green or blue pair echoes the base and dragon, while a red pair can pull out the dragon's warmer tones for contrast. Team it with other cool-colored gear for a matching mythical set.
