Field-Tested (FT) is the middle of the range for the M4A4 | Eye of Horus, a Covert skin from the Anubis Collection. The float here covers 0.23 of a possible 0.70, because the skin's scale is cut off at the top.
What the M4A4 | Eye of Horus looks like in Field-Tested
The body is gold-olive, with turquoise and dark blue lines over the receiver and the stock. The handguard is light, with small colored marks scattered across it. The magazine blocks are turquoise, brick red and gold, and the front sight is dark red. Valve's description speaks of a white base, gold accents and Horus, the falcon god.
In Field-Tested the edges of the stock, handguard and magazine have started to lighten, but the colored magazine blocks and the lines on the receiver hold. Across the 0.15 to 0.38 span, the scuffing on this rifle builds up in a visible way. In the lower part of that band the gold is more even, and in the upper part there is visibly less of it.
What to check before buying
What separates one listing from another:
- the float, inside the 0.15 to 0.38 band;
- stickers and a name tag left on the rifle by a previous owner;
- how clean the light handguard is, and how much gold survives on the edges.
By float, this wear spans 0.15 to 0.38. Every copy has the same artwork, so the choice comes down to wear alone.
What the M4A4 | Eye of Horus costs in Field-Tested
The other wears, relative to Field-Tested:
- Factory New costs a little over three times as much;
- Minimal Wear is pricier by one and a half times and a little over;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by about a tenth;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about a third.
The skin ranks third by price among fourteen Covert M4A4 skins in Field-Tested. Above it are Buzz Kill, pricier by about a twelfth, and The Coalition, pricier by half again. Asiimov is cheaper by about a seventh. Bullet Rain and Royal Paladin are more than twice as cheap.
Getting the M4A4 | Eye of Horus
The skin comes out of the Anubis Collection Package and the Anubis Souvenir Packages. A trade-up contract for the M4A4 | Eye of Horus takes ten skins from the rank below, all from one collection. It appeared in the game in April 2023, and Valve wrote that the collection includes 19 finishes themed on the new map in the Active Duty pool.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the M4A4 | Eye of Horus was released. A Souvenir version does exist, because the finish is in the Anubis Souvenir Packages: Paris 2023, Copenhagen 2024, Shanghai 2024 and Austin 2025. Those copies come with gold tournament stickers and a player autograph. A Souvenir M4A4 | Eye of Horus is a separate item with its own page and its own price.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Eye of Horus
On the gold-olive base, red and dark blue stickers show up well. Gold and turquoise stickers repeat the skin's own colors, and the light handguard takes any dark outline. Leave the magazine blocks free, since they carry the color of the whole finish.
Who this wear suits
Field-Tested is a good buy for this skin when:
- you want a Covert M4A4 whose gold and colored blocks still read;
- you do not need to pay the threefold premium for Factory New, and the lower wears are too worn for you;
- you choose by float: for clean edges, pick numbers closer to 0.15.
In CS2 wear changes the look, not the shooting.
