Description

The M4A4 | Eye of Horus in Well-Worn (WW) is a Covert M4A4 from the Anubis Collection. It costs about two fifths more than Battle-Scarred and is cheaper than Field-Tested by only a tenth.

What the M4A4 | Eye of Horus looks like in Well-Worn

The body is gold-olive and the handguard is light, with small colored marks on it. Turquoise and dark blue lines run along the receiver and the stock. The magazine is built from turquoise, brick-red and gold blocks, and the front sight is brick red.

In Well-Worn the gold is clearly rubbed along the edges and the light handguard darkens, but the lines of the artwork and the colored magazine blocks stay readable. The float of a copy is set when it drops and does not change afterward.

What to check before buying

A few points deserve a look before you pay:

  • the float, inside the 0.38 to 0.45 band;

  • a name tag and stickers that this M4A4 | Eye of Horus already carries.

The float band for this skin is 0.38 to 0.45. It is short, and the difference between listings disappears into noise. The pattern has no variants, so there is nothing to choose by.

What the M4A4 | Eye of Horus costs in Well-Worn

Compared with Well-Worn, the other wears come out as follows:

  • Factory New is pricier by more than three times;

  • Minimal Wear costs almost twice as much;

  • Field-Tested costs about a tenth more;

  • Battle-Scarred is cheaper by almost a third.

Among the twelve Covert M4A4 skins, the Eye of Horus in Well-Worn is second by price. Only Buzz Kill is higher, by about a twelfth. The Coalition is cheaper by about a fifth, Asiimov by a third, and Bullet Rain and Royal Paladin by more than half.

Getting the M4A4 | Eye of Horus

The skin's sources are the Anubis Collection Package and the Anubis Souvenir Packages. For a trade-up into the M4A4 | Eye of Horus, you put in ten skins from the rank below, all from one collection. Valve released the Anubis Collection in April 2023, and the skin appeared in the game then.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Valve has not released a StatTrak version of this skin. A Souvenir version exists: the finish is among the Anubis Souvenir Packages, issued for Paris 2023, Copenhagen 2024, Shanghai 2024 and Austin 2025. Those copies carry gold tournament stickers and a player autograph. A Souvenir M4A4 | Eye of Horus is a different item from this one, with its own page and price.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Eye of Horus

Scuffing collects at the edges, so stickers are better placed nearer the center of the body, on even gold. Dark outlines and white fields read confidently there, while red ones get lost beside the red magazine blocks.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is a reasonable choice if:

  • you want a Covert skin from the Anubis Collection in which the gold and the colored blocks are still visible;

  • paying a tenth more for Field-Tested is not necessary;

  • the look of worn paint does not bother you.

In CS2 the wear does not matter, since scuffing has no effect on shooting.
