The M4A4 | Hellfire in Minimal Wear (MW) shows only light wear: the fiery colors hold, and the marks touch the edges. Floats in this wear fall between 0.07 and 0.15. The rank is Classified, and the rifle belongs to the Operation Hydra Collection. In CS2 the M4A4 | Hellfire exists in all five wears.
What the M4A4 | Hellfire looks like in Minimal Wear
A demon in fire is painted on the rifle: a red face with horns and fangs sits on a cream plate with black lines. The plate lies on the receiver, ringed by red-orange tongues of flame. Black chains run down the grip.
The remaining parts serve the fire: an orange-red magazine, a stock in yellow-orange flame and a dark red handguard. In Minimal Wear the light plate still reads sharply, while scuffs are easier to spot on the edges and around the rim of the magazine. They are set at drop and do not grow.
What to check before buying
Before buying this rifle, check the following:
- float: the 0.07 to 0.15 band covers 16% of the skin's scale, which runs up to 0.50;
- a rename and stickers from earlier owners that remain on the M4A4 | Hellfire;
- the receiver edges beside the white plate, where scuffs show best.
All copies of the M4A4 | Hellfire carry one and the same pattern. The scale allots this wear just 0.07 to 0.15, which is why copies look alike.
What the M4A4 | Hellfire costs in Minimal Wear
Against Minimal Wear, the other wears are priced like this:
- Factory New costs 2.18 times as much;
- Field-Tested is 1.21 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is 2.15 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 2.15 times cheaper.
The price falls unevenly on the way down. The step from Minimal Wear to Field-Tested is small, while the drop to Well-Worn nearly halves it again. The skin ranks second of the eight Classified M4A4 skins. Only the M4A4 | Poseidon is higher, by more than seven times. The nearest one below, the M4A4 | Falak, is two and a half times cheaper, and the M4A4 | Desolate Space almost eight times.
Getting the M4A4 | Hellfire
The source is the Operation Hydra Case, and no other case contains this finish.
For a trade-up into the M4A4 | Hellfire, ten skins from the rank below, all from one collection, go into the contract. The collection has three Classified skins, so the chance is one in three. Trading this skin up to the next rank brings no benefit.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A4 | Hellfire has a StatTrak version in the game. No Souvenir packages were issued for the finish; a Souvenir variant comes from the Souvenir-O-Matic, which moves gold tournament stickers and a player autograph onto a regular skin.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Hellfire
The plate with the face takes the center, while the flames run along the magazine and the stock. A sticker loses its outline on the fire if it is red or orange. Black and white stickers read best, and the demon's face is not worth sacrificing.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear makes sense in these cases:
- you want a fiery M4A4 without paying more than twice as much for Factory New;
- light scuffing along the edges is no obstacle;
- the float is secondary: the band is short, and listings are alike.
