Description

The M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo in Field-Tested (FT) is the middle of the wear scale for this Industrial Grade rifle, painted in a light blue tiger camo. Floats from 0.15 to 0.38 take up 38% of the skin's scale, which ends at 0.60. The skin belongs to The Ascent Collection and is in no case. For CS2 it can be bought in five wears.

What the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo looks like in Field-Tested

The base is steel with a cold light blue tint, and thin cream stripes like tiger fur lie across it. The pattern covers the body, handguard and stock. Only the grip and the front sight stay olive-gray.

In Field-Tested the paint is no longer new: light scuffs show along the edges, and the stripes lose definition in places. The pattern still reads as a whole and is easy to recognize from a distance.

Where the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo came from

The Ascent update of March 31, 2025 brought three collections, Ascent, Boreal and Radiant, and all three went onto Valve's weekly reward list. The M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo is one of the camouflage skins of that update.

What to check before buying

Before paying, look at two things:

  • the float: at 0.15 the cream stripes are still crisp, while at 0.38 they weaken at the edges;

  • stickers and a name tag applied by a previous owner, which stay on the listing.

Every copy of the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo carries the same pattern. The 0.15 to 0.38 band does leave room to choose: the closer to 0.15, the cleaner the copy.

What the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo costs in Field-Tested

Factory New is the dearest of the five wears and costs almost twice as much as Field-Tested. Well-Worn is pricier by a quarter and Battle-Scarred by a few percent, while Minimal Wear is cheaper by a factor of more than two.

Among Industrial Grade M4A4s in this wear, three skins cost less, and the cheapest of them, the M4A4 | Steel Work, is cheaper by a factor of about four. The M4A4 | Mainframe is priced almost level. The M4A4 | Jungle Tiger costs twenty-six times as much. At the top stand the M4A4 | Tornado, the M4A4 | Dark Blossom and the M4A4 | Desert Storm.

Getting the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo

No CS2 case contains the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo. The Ascent Collection sits on the list of weekly rewards for playing time.

The other route is a trade-up: ten skins from the rank below, from the same collection, go in. The collection holds nine Industrial Grade skins, so the result is random.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo was released. Souvenir copies do turn up, but the finish never had Souvenir packages, which were made only for the tournament map collections. Those copies are made through the Souvenir-O-Matic: it puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo

The camo is dense, so stickers need an outline: black and dark red ones separate from the light stripes, while light blue ones disappear. For a craft in CS2, the calmest spot on this M4A4 is the olive grip, which has no pattern.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested is the right wear here when:

  • you want visible but moderate wear without the Factory New price;

  • choosing by float matters: the long band lets you take a copy near the lower edge;

  • the skin is for play in CS2, and clean paint is not required.

Minimal Wear on this skin is cheaper by a factor of more than two, and it is less worn.
