Valve's description says the sheet-lightning pattern was sprayed from a can over a base of charcoal and gold. It does not say where on the body the pattern sits.

Valve added The Boreal Collection in the update of March 31, 2025. The note names it alongside Ascent and Radiant: three new weapon collections on the weekly reward list.
