Minimal Wear (MW) is the priciest wear of the M4A4 | Steel Work, an Industrial Grade M4A4 from The Radiant Collection. The skin's float scale runs from 0.00 to 0.70, and this wear takes 0.07 to 0.15 of it, or 11%.
What the M4A4 | Steel Work looks like in Minimal Wear
The base is dark olive-bronze metal on the receiver and stock. Red diagonal ribbons lie across the top of the receiver, the handguard has a yellow insert with black slanted hatching, and the magazine and grip are red. The design is built from three colors: bronze, red and yellow.
With light wear the red ribbons stay bright, and the scuffs gather on the edges. The float is fixed at the moment of the drop and never changes after that. Listings between 0.07 and 0.15 differ only slightly in appearance.
Where the M4A4 | Steel Work came from
Valve added The Radiant Collection to the weekly reward list on March 31, 2025, and the M4A4 | Steel Work belongs to that collection. Its Valve catalog number is 1313. Valve's write-up of the finish: worn steel, red ribbons, a red grip and a red magazine.
What to check before buying
A few points are worth checking before you buy the M4A4 | Steel Work:
- float from 0.07 to 0.15: the difference between listings is small;
- a name tag and stickers already on that copy.
The M4A4 | Steel Work has a fixed pattern, and its price does not depend on the pattern.
What the M4A4 | Steel Work costs in Minimal Wear
Nothing else on this skin's wear ladder costs more. Factory New, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are each about 1.4 times cheaper, and Field-Tested is four and a half times cheaper.
Of the nine Industrial Grade M4A4 skins priced in Minimal Wear, three are cheaper than this one and five are more expensive. The three below it are M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo, M4A4 | Aeolian Dark and M4A4 | Mainframe. M4A4 | Urban DDPAT costs almost four times more, and M4A4 | Jungle Tiger more than forty times.
Getting the M4A4 | Steel Work
The M4A4 | Steel Work is in none of the cases. The Radiant Collection sits on the weekly reward list, and copies arrive from there.
A trade-up for the M4A4 | Steel Work takes ten skins of the rank below from the same collection. The odds are one in six: The Radiant Collection has six Industrial Grade skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A4 | Steel Work has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages were ever released for it. If you want a souvenir copy, you can build one from an ordinary skin through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Steel Work
The dark metal on the receiver and stock takes light stickers in any shade. Red stickers get lost on the magazine and grip, and the black-and-yellow handguard is best left alone. Edge scuffs at this light level hardly get in the way.
Who this wear suits
Buying the M4A4 | Steel Work in exactly this wear makes sense when:
- you want an M4A4 for CS2 with bright paint and wear only along the edges;
- the float must not go past 0.15;
- a craft in CS2 calls for a base that is close to clean.
Factory New costs about 1.4 times less, but its float is limited to values up to 0.07.
