M4A4 | Temukau (Minimal Wear)

The M4A4 | Temukau in Minimal Wear (MW) is the grade nearest to Factory New, and it costs almost half as much as the top one. The float band for this wear of the M4A4 | Temukau runs from 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Covert rifle and drops from the Revolution Case.

What the M4A4 | Temukau looks like in Minimal Wear

Valve describes the finish as a painted scene in the style of Japanese animation: a counter-terrorist girl holding off a terrorist rush. The ground is white, cut by light-blue panels and pink lines. The figure takes the side of the receiver, while the handguard and stock carry the stripes again, minus the character.

On white, wear shows along the edges first: the corner of the receiver, the ribs of the handguard, the bottom of the magazine. In Minimal Wear those spots are only starting to darken, and the face and figure, lying on a flat surface, hold up longest.

Where the M4A4 | Temukau came from

The finish came out of the Steam Workshop. Its submission of November 10, 2022 was titled M4A4 | Temukau V2. The skin reached the game on February 9, 2023, when the Revolution Collection was added.

In its note of February 10, 2023, Valve announced the Revolution Case: seventeen finishes by community authors, with the gloves from the Clutch Case as its rare special items.

What to check before buying

Before paying, it is worth checking:

• float within 0.07 to 0.15: the band takes 0.08 of the finish's 0.80 scale, a tenth;


• the corners of the receiver, the ribs of the handguard and the bottom of the magazine, where wear on the white appears first;


• stickers and name tag already sitting on this copy.

Every copy of the M4A4 | Temukau carries the same picture, and there are no rare examples. Within 0.07 to 0.15 there is no best copy to search out.

What the M4A4 | Temukau costs in Minimal Wear

Set against Minimal Wear, the other grades come out like this:

• Factory New costs almost twice as much;


• Field-Tested sits about one and a half times lower;


• Well-Worn sits about 1.7 times lower;


• Battle-Scarred also sits about 1.7 times lower.

The three lower wears lie within ten percent of one another, and the main price step falls at the border between Minimal Wear and Factory New.

Among Covert M4A4s in Minimal Wear, the finish ranks ninth from the top of thirteen. The nearest one above, M4A4 | The Emperor, costs about a third more, and M4A4 | Neo-Noir is priced almost the same. The most expensive is M4A4 | The Coalition.

Getting the M4A4 | Temukau

The skin drops from the Revolution Case (the finish has no other case).

The M4A4 | Temukau can be produced by a contract of ten skins one rank below, from a single collection. The Covert rank itself goes further into a craft: five Covert skins of the Revolution Collection give a random pair of gloves.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The M4A4 | Temukau has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist too, though no packages were issued for it, since those were made only for tournament map collections. Such copies are made through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Temukau

The figure on the side of the receiver holds the place of honor, so stickers go on the handguard, stock and magazine. Light stickers get lost on the white panels, while dark and purple ones read well. Leave the marks around the character uncovered.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear is the right buy if at least one of these holds:

• you want a white M4A4 with an anime scene for a CS2 loadout, with panels that have not yet lost their cleanliness;


• paying nearly double for zero wear on the corners in Factory New makes no sense to you;


• you want a narrow band, 0.07 to 0.15, with a predictable look.

In CS2, wear has no effect on shooting. If an untouched white edge matters to you, look at Factory New: that is where the price boundary lies.
