Battle-Scarred (BS) on the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy means a float of 0.45 to 0.73, and the ceiling is cut short: the finish's scale ends at 0.73, not 1.00. It is Classified, from The Fracture Collection. BS takes up 38% of the scale, and here the drawn-on shabbiness matches the real thing.
What the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy looks like in Battle-Scarred
The body looks as though it was painted over old paint: salmon-coral and faded green with gray, blotches and streaks. On the side of the receiver by the magazine well is a pale yellow outlined figure with lines running to the sides. The magazine is coral with scratched-in marks, and the stock is dark gray-green with red strokes.
There are no teeth or coins on the weapon, and the graffiti-style lettering on the stock and magazine is unreadable. Here wear works over the edges: the front cut of the handguard, the receiver corners, the buttplate edge and the magazine ribs. The thin lines of the figure break before the fills do and turn into a smudge.
Where the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy came from
The finish was painted by 2Minds of the Steam Workshop. The submission is titled "M4A4 | Tooth Fairy" and dated July 13, 2020. The author described the collection as sharp brushstrokes, eaten-away paint and a scatter of teeth and broken bones, and added that the series was still being refined. The skin came out in August 2020, and in Valve's catalog it is finish number 971.
What to check before buying
A few points are worth checking before buying the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy:
- float: the 0.45 to 0.73 band is wide, and copies near its edge differ;
- stickers and a name tag, which come with the listing on the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy;
- the light figure by the magazine well: whether it is whole or has turned into a smudge.
No copy carries a "rare" pattern, since the artwork is identical on all of them. Between 0.45 and 0.73 there is a difference big enough that comparing several listings pays off.

Getting the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy
The skin sits in the Fracture Case. Besides the case, a trade-up gives the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy: gather ten skins one rank down from this set and you get one of the collection's three Classified skins. In a contract, that skin in turn leads to AK-47 | Legion of Anubis and Desert Eagle | Printstream.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A4 | Tooth Fairy has a StatTrak version. Souvenir packages do not exist for it.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy
The texture is dirty and mottled, so hand-drawn, beaten-up stickers fit the theme while geometrically clean ones look out of place. Black, white and cool blue read well on the coral. The stock and handguard are free, and the light figure by the magazine is better left uncovered.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred pays off when:
- you want the cheapest Classified M4A4 for CS2;
- scuffing does not bother you, since the finish is drawn tattered anyway;
- Factory New costs more than three times as much, and you have no need to pay for clean paint.
