The MAC-10 | Cat Fight in Minimal Wear (MW) is a Restricted skin from The Genesis Collection for the Terrorists. It is a submachine gun with a cat baring its teeth across the body. The float here runs from 0.07 to 0.15, which makes this the second-cleanest of the five wears. The MAC-10 | Cat Fight for CS2 comes in every wear.
What the MAC-10 | Cat Fight looks like in Minimal Wear
Valve's description says the submachine gun is custom painted, with a cat showing its teeth on the body and a target on the back of the receiver. The caption for the finish is "Kitty's got claws...".
The scale for this wear on the MAC-10 | Cat Fight sits between 0.07 and 0.15. That is eight hundredths of a scale that runs to 1.00 for this skin. Wear is settled when the item drops and never changes afterward, so a listing shows precisely the condition the buyer will get.
Where the MAC-10 | Cat Fight came from
The finish was made by Maloo. The submission "MAC-10 :: KamiCATze" appeared in the Steam Workshop on August 6, 2025. Its description is a single long-drawn cat "meow" with the letters repeated dozens of times.
The Genesis Collection was released on September 16, 2025, and the MAC-10 | Cat Fight has been in the set since launch. Valve's note for the update says the collection holds seventeen finishes by community authors. The finish's number in Valve's catalog is 1349.
What to check before buying
Before you buy a MAC-10 | Cat Fight, run through these points:
- float: the closer the number to 0.15, the more visible the wear;
- any name tag or stickers already on the copy, which stay with the listing;
- StatTrak: this MAC-10 has a counter version, and it is a separate item.
All copies of the MAC-10 | Cat Fight carry the same design. The 0.07 to 0.15 band is short, so differences between listings fall within the margin of error.
What the MAC-10 | Cat Fight costs in Minimal Wear
The other wears, measured against Minimal Wear:
- Factory New costs three times as much;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by a little over two times;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by more than two times;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by two and a half times.
Among Restricted MAC-10s with a price in this wear, the skin sits in the lower part of the row. The MAC-10 | Pipe Down stands level with it, and the MAC-10 | Last Dive is slightly higher. The MAC-10 | Button Masher and MAC-10 | Allure are cheaper. The top of the row belongs to the MAC-10 | Red Filigree, MAC-10 | Gold Brick and MAC-10 | Case Hardened.
Getting the MAC-10 | Cat Fight
The skin sits in the Sealed Genesis Terminal, which holds the whole Genesis Collection.
For a contract to hand over the MAC-10 | Cat Fight, ten skins one rank lower from a single collection go in. The Genesis set has five Restricted skins, so the chance at this MAC-10 is one in five. The skin itself serves as an input to contracts for the Classified AWP | Ice Coaled, Glock-18 | Mirror Mosaic and MP7 | Smoking Kills.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MAC-10 | Cat Fight has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish do turn up as well, though no packages were released for it, since those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Cat Fight
The target on the back of the receiver and the cat on the body are the two focal points of the finish. It is easier to choose stickers that cover neither of them.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear on the MAC-10 | Cat Fight makes sense in three cases:
- you want the cat and target without noticeable scuffs, but with a saving against Factory New;
- it matters that the float sits within 0.07 to 0.15;
- you are putting together a set of Genesis skins in which the MAC-10 should look neat.
Factory New costs three times as much, while all three lower wears cost less than Minimal Wear by half or more.
