The MAC-10 | Light Box in Factory New (FN) is a Mil-Spec SMG from The Kilowatt Collection: a black body with glowing violet-pink stripes. The float for this wear runs from 0.00 to 0.07, seven hundredths of a scale that spans 0.00 to 1.00. The skin drops from the Kilowatt Case.

What the MAC-10 | Light Box looks like in Factory New

Valve writes that the finish is painted as if you were looking into the back of the MAC-10. The body is black and matte. A few short glowing stripes in violet-pink mark the side panel, and a thin line of the same color follows the edge of the magazine. The strap is steel-gray with a lilac sheen. Valve's caption for it is "Custom built".

Factory New is the 0.00 to 0.07 band, where there are almost no signs of wear. The float value is written when the item drops and never changes afterward.

Where the MAC-10 | Light Box came from

The finish came out on February 6, 2024, together with the Kilowatt Case. Valve built that case from seventeen community creations and made the Kukri knife its rare special item. In May 2024, opening the case with a key gained a new option: renting the entire Kilowatt Collection for a week instead of taking a single item.

Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1164.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the MAC-10 | Light Box exists in the game. Souvenir packages were not issued for this finish, because those were produced only for tournament map collections. You can still make a souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic attaches gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from your inventory. As a result, the odd souvenir copy appears even where packages never existed.

Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Light Box

The black body leaves a lot of flat space. White, pink and violet stickers echo the glowing stripes, while dark ones vanish into the background. The magazine is the smoothest surface, but it is better to leave the line along its edge uncovered, since that line holds the whole look of the finish together.

Who this wear suits

The MAC-10 | Light Box in this wear is worth buying if:

• you want a MAC-10 for CS2 with neon artwork and almost no signs of wear;


• you are ready to pay three and a half to four and a half times more for clean paint;


• you need a dark base under light stickers in a CS2 craft.

If wear is not critical, the other four wears sit close to one another in price.
