MAC-10 | Light Box (Minimal Wear)

Minimal Wear (MW) of the MAC-10 | Light Box is a Mil-Spec submachine gun from The Kilowatt Collection, with a black body and neon stripes. The float band is short, 0.07 to 0.15, and the price in this wear is 3.6 times lower than in Factory New. It costs the same as Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

What the MAC-10 | Light Box looks like in Minimal Wear

The body is black and matte, and only the stripes glow: a few short violet-pink strokes on the receiver and a thin line along the magazine. The strap is steel gray with a lilac cast.

This wear of the MAC-10 | Light Box sits between 0.07 and 0.15. That is 0.08 out of 1.00, only eight percent of the scale. Wear is fixed at the drop and does not grow over time.

Where the MAC-10 | Light Box came from

The skin arrived on February 6, 2024, in the same update as the Kilowatt Case. Valve's note describes the case as seventeen skins designed by the community, plus a Kukri Knife with original finishes as the rare special item.

What to check before buying

Before taking a MAC-10 | Light Box, look at these points:

• float: between 0.07 and 0.15, listings differ very little;

• the name tag and stickers the MAC-10 | Light Box already carries;

• version: the skin has a StatTrak variant, and it is a separate listing.

In this wear the MAC-10 | Light Box covers a short stretch, 0.07 to 0.15, so chasing a particular number gains nothing. The skin does not come in two different artworks.

What the MAC-10 | Light Box costs in Minimal Wear

Minimal Wear relates to the other wears like this:

• Factory New costs 3.6 times as much;

• Field-Tested and Well-Worn are level, within three percent;

• Battle-Scarred is 1.2 times cheaper.

Three wears, from Minimal Wear down to Well-Worn, cost the same. The only departures are at the edges: Factory New sits well above them, and Battle-Scarred a little below.

Among Mil-Spec MAC-10 skins in this wear, the skin is fourth from the bottom. MAC-10 | Monkeyflage, MAC-10 | Ensnared and MAC-10 | Poplar Thicket are cheaper, though not by much. Above it stand MAC-10 | Oceanic and MAC-10 | Rangeen. At the top are MAC-10 | Amber Fade, MAC-10 | Fade and MAC-10 | Copper Borre.

Getting the MAC-10 | Light Box

The skin drops from the Kilowatt Case and from no other case.

A contract cannot produce it, because in Kilowatt Mil-Spec is the lowest rank. The skin itself can go in as a trade-up input and returns a skin one rank higher, for example Five-SeveN | Hybrid or MP7 | Just Smile.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the MAC-10 | Light Box exists; there are no Souvenir packages. A Souvenir copy is assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Light Box

The black body takes any light sticker. White and silver look restrained, pink and purple repeat the color of the stripes, and red and yellow contrast with the neon.

Who this wear suits

Buying the MAC-10 | Light Box here in Minimal Wear makes sense when:

• you want a neon MAC-10 with light wear, without the Factory New price;

• light stickers need a dark base with almost no scuffs;

• the price is level with Field-Tested anyway, so the float is what decides it.
