MAC-10 | Sakkaku (Well-Worn)

The MAC-10 | Sakkaku in Well-Worn (WW) is the middle of the skin's three wears and its narrowest band, just 12% of the scale. The finish has no clean versions in CS2, as the float starts at 0.21. It is ranked Restricted, drops from the Revolution Case and is built for the Terrorists. This wear is given the float band 0.38 to 0.45.

What the MAC-10 | Sakkaku looks like in Well-Worn

The artwork is built around a portrait on the side of the upper receiver. The girl is drawn in an anime manner, with red eyes and pale skin. Behind the face is a sandy-cream background with black and red-orange rays. The perforated grip is orange and the magazine is gray. Everything else, the barrel and stock included, is left as bare gray metal. The skin's name is set in white letters on the strap by the handguard. Valve notes that in certain light the eyes glow red.

In Well-Worn the wear on the edges is already noticeable, but the face still reads. The cream background grays at the edges, the diamond perforation on the grip fades, and the thin eye outlines dim. The middle of the side is flat and keeps best.

Where the MAC-10 | Sakkaku came from

A Steam Workshop artist going by Anbu posted the submission "Mac-10 Sakkaku" in December 2022. He explained the name himself: the Japanese word means "illusion". The work was done by his sister, who was thirteen, so he is credited as a co-author.

Valve prepared the Revolution Case with seventeen community finishes and gloves from the Clutch Case as the rare items. The Revolution Collection came out on February 9, 2023, and this MAC-10 has belonged to it from day one. In Valve's finish catalog it is number 1229.

What to check before buying

When choosing a listing, the following matters:

• the name tag and any stickers, which go with the lot;

• float: the band 0.38 to 0.45 is narrow, about one eighth of the skin's scale;

• the face on the side, where the eye outlines should remain distinguishable.

The pattern is not a lottery, since all copies are the same. Anywhere between 0.38 and 0.45, the skin looks the same.

What the MAC-10 | Sakkaku costs in Well-Worn

The skin has three wears, and Well-Worn is the cheapest of them:

• Field-Tested costs about twice as much;

• Battle-Scarred costs about a tenth more.

Among Restricted MAC-10 skins in Well-Worn, the Sakkaku is second from the bottom: only MAC-10 | Allure is lower, while MAC-10 | Button Masher costs slightly more. Next come MAC-10 | Pipe Down and MAC-10 | Cat Fight, a third and two thirds higher, and MAC-10 | Saibā Oni, three times higher. MAC-10 | Case Hardened and MAC-10 | Red Filigree cost more than seventy times as much.

Getting the MAC-10 | Sakkaku

Among cases, only the Revolution Case drops this skin. A trade-up works as well: ten skins one rank lower, all from a single collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MAC-10 | Sakkaku has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish, because they were limited to tournament map collections. A Souvenir copy can nonetheless be assembled by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic fits gold tournament stickers and a player autograph onto an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is how single Souvenir copies end up where no package ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Sakkaku

The side under the portrait is taken, so the free spots are the grip and the strap. Dark stickers read against the cream background, and light ones vanish. Red and orange blend with the rays and come across as a detail of the artwork.

Who this wear suits

Buying the MAC-10 | Sakkaku here makes sense if:

• you want the cheapest of the three versions of the anime MAC-10 for CS2;

• a distinguishable face matters, but you do not want to pay for Field-Tested;

• the listing is picked by look and not by number, since across this float stretch the look is the same.

In Well-Worn the portrait holds in the middle of the side, while the edges of the receiver are already gray.
