This is the MAC-10 | Silver (Factory New), and Factory New (FN) is one of only two wears of the skin: it comes in Factory New and Minimal Wear. The rank is Industrial Grade, and the collection is The Bank Collection. A silver MAC-10 for CS2 here has a float from 0.00 to 0.07.

What the MAC-10 | Silver looks like in Factory New

The skin has no art. The body is painted a uniform light silver with a cold shine. The silver covers only the receiver as a whole. The magazine and pistol grip are a dark gray-brown, the strap is olive, the muzzle end is black, and the trigger guard is stock.

Valve describes the coating as a chrome base with a transparent silver anodized paint over it. The standard cooling slots, rivets and a couple of small protrusions are visible. There are no inscriptions or symbols on the body.

Where the MAC-10 | Silver came from

The Bank Collection was released on May 2, 2014, and the MAC-10 | Silver has been part of it since the release. Valve's update note says the collection was added to the drop list.

What to compare when choosing a MAC-10 | Silver:

• float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band is tight, and every other copy of the skin is Minimal Wear;


• the previous owner's stickers and any name tag on the MAC-10 | Silver;


• version: the skin has no StatTrak and no souvenir packages.

No CS2 case contains the MAC-10 | Silver. A trade-up for the MAC-10 | Silver requires ten skins one rank lower, all from this collection. The odds of landing this MAC-10 are one in five.

The skin can also be traded away: ten Industrial Grade skins of the collection yield one Mil-Spec. Such a trade brings no gain, and in it the MAC-10 | Silver is not the cheapest entry.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MAC-10 | Silver has neither a StatTrak version nor souvenir packages. A souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Silver

Plain silver is a convenient base: there is no art to compete with a sticker. Dark and bright stickers read well, while silver and white ones get lost on the light receiver. The magazine and grip are dark, and light stickers look better there.
