Minimal Wear (MW) of the MAC-10 | Storm Camo is a Consumer Grade skin from The Ascent Collection in blue camouflage, made for the Terrorists. By price it sits between Factory New and the three lower wears. You can buy this MAC-10 for CS2 in other wears too, but Minimal Wear stays near the top of the skin's range for cleanliness of paint.
What the MAC-10 | Storm Camo looks like in Minimal Wear
The base of the skin is a camouflage of gray-blue patches with dark, slightly brownish inserts. It covers the body and grip. The magazine and strap are a flat blue-violet with no pattern, and the metal parts are left bare.
Minimal Wear covers floats from 0.07 to 0.15, roughly an eighth of the skin's range, which stops at 0.64. There is little scuffing, and the camouflage keeps the shape of its patches. A copy's wear is set at the drop and does not grow.
Where the MAC-10 | Storm Camo came from
This MAC-10 debuted on March 31, 2025, together with the addition of The Ascent Collection. Valve's tagline for the skin is "We all have to do things we don't like".
What to check before buying
What matters when buying a MAC-10 | Storm Camo:
- the float: the band is short, but wear looks different at the 0.07 low end and the 0.15 high end;
- the name tag and stickers already applied, which stay on the listing;
- the item version: this skin comes only in the regular version, without StatTrak.
The artwork is identical on all copies, so there are no rare examples. Within 0.07 to 0.15 there is no best copy to hunt for.
What the MAC-10 | Storm Camo costs in Minimal Wear
Against the other wears, Minimal Wear stacks up like this:
- Factory New costs one and a half times more;
- Field-Tested and Well-Worn are about a twelfth cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is almost 4.7 times cheaper.
Three wears, from Minimal Wear down to Well-Worn, cost nearly the same, and the large jumps sit at the edges: above at Factory New, below at Battle-Scarred.
Among Consumer Grade MAC-10 skins, Minimal Wear has just one cheaper rival, MAC-10 | Bronzer. MAC-10 | Sienna Damask follows, only slightly higher. MAC-10 | Strats costs several times as much, while MAC-10 | Indigo, MAC-10 | Surfwood and MAC-10 | Tornado go far higher.
Getting the MAC-10 | Storm Camo
The MAC-10 | Storm Camo does not drop from cases. Its source is The Ascent Collection, which is on the Weekly Care Package list, the weekly reward for playtime.
A contract cannot build the skin: in The Ascent Collection, Consumer Grade is the lowest rank. The MAC-10 itself can go into a contract, and ten Consumer Grade skins from the set return one Industrial Grade skin.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the MAC-10 | Storm Camo was released, and there were no Souvenir packages for this skin. You can make a Souvenir copy through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Storm Camo
The camouflage patches are dark and gray-blue, so red, orange and white stickers stand out on the body at once. Blue and violet stickers match the magazine and strap and look at home there, but they get lost on the patches.
Who this wear suits
The MAC-10 | Storm Camo in Minimal Wear is worth buying under these conditions:
- you need a camouflage with minimal scuffing but without the Factory New surcharge;
- you want a relatively clean base for stickers;
- the price difference with Factory New matters, while the lower wears are only a little cheaper.
