The MAG-7 | Foresight in Factory New (FN) is a dark body with fine artwork and orange accents, free of scuffs. In this wear its float runs from 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, and CS2 players can buy it in all five wears.
What the MAG-7 | Foresight looks like in Factory New
The body is coated in dark gray paint with a greenish tint, and a fine pattern is laid over it. Two plates on the receiver read LOSE and WIN. An eye is drawn on the handguard, and orange blotches, a ring and a figure with rays supply the only bright color.
In Factory New all of these details are intact: the lettering on the plates reads clearly, the orange is not rubbed away, and the gray paint shows no light scuffs. Between 0.00 and 0.07 there is little to choose from when hunting for a best copy. That band takes up 10% of the 0.00 to 0.70 scale.
Where the MAG-7 | Foresight came from
The finish went into the Dreams & Nightmares Case, which Valve released in January 2022. The case holds seventeen works picked from the Steam Workshop in a contest of the same name. By rank, this finish is the lowest in the collection.
What to check before buying
When choosing a MAG-7 | Foresight, pay attention to the following:
- the float: inside 0.00 to 0.07 the difference between listings is minimal;
- how crisp the LOSE and WIN plates and the orange blotches are;
- any stickers and name tag the shotgun already wears.
Searching by pattern index is pointless here, because the artwork never changes.
What the MAG-7 | Foresight costs in Factory New
The other wears, measured against this one:
- Minimal Wear is half the price;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by a factor of about one and a half;
- Well-Worn is half the price;
- Battle-Scarred is about four and a half times cheaper.
Factory New is the most expensive wear of this finish. A clean factory look costs noticeably more than any worn one.
Among Mil-Spec MAG-7 skins in this wear, the finish comes out the cheapest. The nearest above it are MAG-7 | Insomnia and MAG-7 | Resupply, and the dearest of this rank is MAG-7 | Counter Terrace.
Getting the MAG-7 | Foresight
The MAG-7 | Foresight drops from the Dreams & Nightmares Case, and no other case holds it.
A trade-up cannot produce it, since Mil-Spec is the lowest rank in the collection. As an input it works well: ten Mil-Spec skins from the set yield one Restricted skin, such as M4A1-S | Night Terror or XM1014 | Zombie Offensive.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the MAG-7 | Foresight
The MAG-7 | Foresight has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were issued for this finish: those were made only for tournament map collections. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself, because the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory. That is why the odd Souvenir copy turns up even where packages never existed.
The body is dark and densely drawn, so a sticker on the receiver will cover part of the artwork. The calmest background is on the magazine, where there is neither lettering nor artwork. The orange details go with warm stickers and clash with cool ones.
Who this wear suits
A Factory New MAG-7 | Foresight makes sense under these conditions:
- you want a dark shotgun whose lettering and orange accents are untouched by wear;
- your build runs in a gray-and-orange palette;
- you take the MAG-7 into CS2 matches on the counter-terrorist side, the only one that can use this weapon.
If the artwork matters more than cleanliness, Field-Tested is about one and a half times cheaper.
