The MAG-7 | MAGnitude in Factory New (FN) is a dark gray shotgun with angular red ribbons and a float from 0.00 to 0.07. Its rank is Mil-Spec, it comes from The Genesis Collection, and it is a counter-terrorist side skin. In CS2 this is the skin's cleanest state, with the red facets untouched by scuffs.
What the MAG-7 | MAGnitude looks like in Factory New
The base is graphite gray with black. Over it run scarlet and dark burgundy wedge-shaped stripes with sharp corners. The muzzle device has red inserts, and the barrel is bluish black.
The red stripes run along the shroud and the side of the receiver and spill over onto the forend. The grip, the stock-guard and the magazine stay gray-black. On the side of the receiver there is a small red logo mark. The pattern is strictly geometric, with no textures and no readable lettering.
In Factory New the paint is clean, and only the raised edges show thin light rims. The red wedges keep full saturation in this wear.
What to check before buying
On the MAG-7 | MAGnitude, look at these points before paying:
- float: this wear sits in a tight 0.00 to 0.07 band, and the difference between listings is hard to catch;
- stickers and an applied name: on the MAG-7 | MAGnitude they go with the listing;
- the version: the skin has a StatTrak variant, and it is a separate listing.
The artwork on the MAG-7 | MAGnitude is applied identically across the whole run.
What the MAG-7 | MAGnitude costs in Factory New
Factory New is noticeably dearer than the skin's other wears. Minimal Wear (MW) is cheaper by a factor of three, while Field-Tested (FT), Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) are cheaper by about 2.2 to 2.3. The order at the bottom of the scale is unusual: Minimal Wear costs less than the lower wears.
Among Mil-Spec MAG-7 skins in this wear, it lands in the lower third of a row of thirteen: four cheaper, eight dearer. Above it come Cobalt Core and Popdog, and the top of the row belongs to MAG-7 | Counter Terrace. That skin costs two orders of magnitude more than the MAGnitude.
Getting the MAG-7 | MAGnitude
The skin drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. A trade-up cannot make it, since it is the lowest rank in the collection. As an input to a trade-up for the next rank, though, it is the cheapest in the set.
The Genesis Collection opened in the game on September 16, 2025, and the skin was there from day one.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The skin has a StatTrak version and no Souvenir packages. A Souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic if you wish.
Stickers and craft on the MAG-7 | MAGnitude
The gray-black ground holds light and red stickers well, but red ones next to the wedges fight the artwork. The grip and magazine stay clean, and those are where stickers do not cross the red. White and silver stickers on the shroud stand out against the scarlet stripes.
Who this wear suits
The MAG-7 | MAGnitude in Factory New is a sensible buy in these situations:
- you want untouched red wedges on a dark shotgun;
- a price above the skin's other wears does not bother you;
- the 0.00 to 0.07 band suits you: listings in it are almost indistinguishable.
