MP7 | Abyssal Apparition in Battle-Scarred (BS): the most worn version of the orange SMG, with the longest float band, 55% of the skin's scale. Classified rank, and the drop comes from the Dreams & Nightmares Case. This grade covers floats from 0.45 to 1.00.
What the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition looks like in Battle-Scarred
The design sits on an orange and yellow base. Red and turquoise lines are shifted away from each other, and that offset makes the image seem to double. In the lower part by the magazine a skull comes through. The forend and stock are gray, with turquoise splashes across the receiver.
In Battle-Scarred (BS) the orange base is rubbed away hardest along the edges, and the double outline loses one of its halves there. The design survives on flat areas, but the borders between red and turquoise blur. The 0.45 to 1.00 band is wide: copies near its lower end are noticeably better preserved than those near the top.
Where the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition came from
The skin's author is Niran. The Dreams & Nightmares Collection was released on January 21, 2022, and the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition has been in the set since launch. Valve's release note says the case holds seventeen finishes chosen from the Workshop. In the Valve catalog the skin is recorded as number 1133.
What to check before buying
What matters when buying an MP7 | Abyssal Apparition:
- The name tag and stickers, which stay with the listing.
- Float: in this wear the band is not cut off but runs all the way to 1.00.
- The condition of the skull, which should read in full.
Every copy carries the identical pattern. The stretch from 0.45 to 1.00 is long, and the outermost copies differ noticeably.
What the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition costs in Battle-Scarred
In this wear the skin is the cheapest of the five. Measured against it:
- Factory New is priced at two and a half times this wear;
- Minimal Wear costs about a fifth more;
- Field-Tested costs about a tenth more;
- Well-Worn costs about a tenth more.
Among the Classified MP7 finishes in Battle-Scarred, the Abyssal Apparition costs more than MP7 | Smoking Kills, which is cheaper by over a third.
Getting the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition
The case is the Dreams & Nightmares Case. The second route is a contract. Ten skins one rank down within one collection go in, for example G3SG1 | Dream Glade, PP-Bizon | Space Cat or XM1014 | Zombie Offensive, and the skin comes out. The chance of getting this one is one in three.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The finish is available with StatTrak. Valve never put out souvenir packages for it, as they were limited to tournament map collections. Yet nothing stops you from making a souvenir copy: the Souvenir-O-Matic hangs gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a plain skin from the inventory. That explains why an occasional souvenir copy turns up where no package ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition
The background is not empty, so a sticker shares the field with the red and turquoise outlines. Black and white stickers read on the orange, while turquoise and red ones disappear into the artwork. The free areas are the gray forend and stock.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred is the right wear for the MP7 | Abyssal Apparition under these conditions:
- you want an orange SMG for CS2 with maximum wear and the lowest price of the skin;
- you choose the float in the long window of 0.45 to 1.00, and its exact point matters to you;
- you want the kill-counter version (StatTrak) on a worn base.
Battle-Scarred is cheaper than the neighboring worn wears by a tenth to a fifth, and for CS2 it is the most accessible way into the finish.
