Factory New (FN) covers only the first 7% of the MP7 | Amberline's scale, a float from 0.00 to 0.07. Its rank is Restricted, and the set is The Dead Hand Collection. There is no case for it: the source is the collection's sealed terminal. In CS2 this is a finish from March 2026.
What the MP7 | Amberline looks like in Factory New
The fill is glossy and almost single-toned, shading from amber orange to golden brown, with darker orange panels. White and light gray diagonal stripes cut across it on the stock, the magazine, the rear of the receiver and the front end. Small triangles and a few rectangular marks gather at the front of the receiver. The barrel, the grip and the trigger are left unpainted.
Within Factory New, floats sit between 0.00 and 0.07. The even gloss looks flawless: no light edges along the top of the receiver, no scuffs on the rail or the spine of the magazine.
Where the MP7 | Amberline came from
SerQ is credited as the author, and the Workshop submission was titled "RUNWAY : MP7 : Amberline". In the description he writes that he tried to carry the graphic style of Counter-Strike 2 itself onto a weapon: diagonal markings and clean geometry familiar from the main menu. The Dead Hand Collection opened on March 11, 2026, and the skin was in it from day one. Valve's list names seventeen community finishes and twenty-two new glove designs. The finish's number in the Valve catalog is 1436.
What to check before buying
On an MP7 | Amberline, these are the things that differ from listing to listing:
- float: the band from 0.00 to 0.07 is narrow, and copies are almost impossible to tell apart;
- whatever the previous owner left behind, meaning stickers and a name tag;
- how clean the white stripes and the dark panels look in the listing's large photos.
What the MP7 | Amberline costs in Factory New
Every other wear is cheaper. Minimal Wear is cheaper by a little over a factor of two, Field-Tested by four, Well-Worn by four and a half, Battle-Scarred by almost six. Among Restricted MP7s in Factory New, only the MP7 | Just Smile sits lower. Priced above this skin are the MP7 | Special Delivery, MP7 | Impire, MP7 | Powercore and MP7 | Fade.
Getting the MP7 | Amberline
It comes out of the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. The skin can also come from a trade-up contract, which takes ten Mil-Spec skins. They can come from anywhere, and the result is drawn from the collection of one of the inputs. Putting in ten from The Dead Hand Collection steers the result into it.
StatTrak and Souvenir
This skin takes StatTrak but never comes as a Souvenir.
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Amberline
The white diagonal stripes are part of the artwork, so stickers sit better beside them than on top of them. The clean amber background sets off high-contrast stickers.
Who this wear suits
The MP7 | Amberline in this wear makes sense if:
- you want gloss without a single scuff;
- a 0.07 spread of float means little to you, and what matters is Factory New as a category;
- you are taking the skin as a factory-fresh copy from a new collection.
