Description

The MP7 | Amberline in Minimal Wear (MW) is a glossy amber-orange submachine gun with white diagonal stripes. The float band for this wear is 0.07 to 0.15, which is 8 percent of a scale that runs to 1.00 for the finish. The skin is Restricted and belongs to The Dead Hand Collection.

What the MP7 | Amberline looks like in Minimal Wear

The receiver, handguard and magazine are flooded with amber gloss, orange in places and golden brown in others. White and light gray stripes cut across the stock, magazine and front section on the diagonal, and small triangular marks show on the front of the receiver. The grip, trigger and barrel stay dark metal, while the front sight and charging handle are golden. There is no lettering on the finish.

Because the glossy fill is nearly one tone, every scuff shows. In Minimal Wear the marks appear first on the upper edges of the receiver, the rail, the spine of the magazine and the corners of the stock. The white stripes break up at their edges, and the wide flat side of the receiver holds its amber color longest.

Where the MP7 | Amberline came from

The MP7 | Amberline appeared on March 11, 2026, when The Dead Hand Collection was added to the game. Valve says it holds 17 finishes by community authors. In Valve's catalog the finish is number 1436.

The finish comes from SerQ. He sent the Workshop an entry titled “RUNWAY : MP7 : Amberline”. By his account, it takes up the signature graphic language of Counter-Strike 2. That means diagonal marking stripes and clean shapes that set the tone of the game from the main menu. The series came out in three variants: Amberline, Field and Night Ops. They share the same layout and differ in palette.

What to check before buying

When picking an MP7 | Amberline listing, pay attention to:

  • the float: the band is 0.07 to 0.15, and the lower end is closer to the factory gloss;

  • the upper edges of the receiver, the rail and the stock corners, where the first marks show against the amber;

  • stickers and a name tag already sitting on that particular MP7 | Amberline.

The 0.07 to 0.15 band is tight on the MP7 | Amberline, and the listings at either end differ only by the number.

What the MP7 | Amberline costs in Minimal Wear

The other wears, measured against this one:

  • Factory New is 2.2 times dearer;

  • Field-Tested is almost half the price;

  • Well-Worn is 2.1 times cheaper;

  • Battle-Scarred is 2.8 times cheaper.

Among Restricted MP7s, this skin in Minimal Wear is third from the bottom by price. Two cost less: the MP7 | Special Delivery and the MP7 | Just Smile. Above it come the MP7 | Impire, MP7 | Powercore and MP7 | Neon Ply, and at the top stand the MP7 | Fade and MP7 | Ocean Foam.

Getting the MP7 | Amberline

The skin comes from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, not from a case. A trade-up contract also produces the MP7 | Amberline, when ten skins one rank lower go into it and they come from this collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the MP7 | Amberline exists, while souvenir packages were never issued for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Amberline

The fill is glossy and bright, so stickers look best when some room is left beside the white diagonal stripes. The flat side of the receiver is free, with neither stripes nor marks on it. White stickers echo the stripes, while black and dark ones contrast sharply with the amber.

Who this wear suits

Buying the MP7 | Amberline in Minimal Wear is reasonable in these cases:

  • you want a bright amber MP7 for CS2 in which the gloss still holds;

  • you want to save: Factory New is 2.2 times dearer;

  • you want a finish with a known author and a Workshop history.

If the gloss has to be flawless, take Factory New: Minimal Wear already carries its first marks on the edges.
