Field-Tested (FT) on the MP7 | Army Recon is a wear with a float of 0.15 to 0.38, which is 31 percent of the scale. The skin is Consumer Grade and belongs to The Safehouse Collection. It has no regular case: copies came out of tournament souvenir packages.
What the MP7 | Army Recon looks like in Field-Tested
It is a classic blotchy camouflage in a sandy-brown palette. The patches are sand, olive, rusty brown and pale yellow, with soft, blurred borders. There is no clear motif, only hazy blotches.
The camouflage covers the receiver, forend, grip, stock and magazine. Only the barrel and the sights are left bare. The small lettering on the receiver cannot be made out. The paint is even, and the tone is slightly lighter on the corners of the stock and at the muzzle. Float does not grow: the value is written into the copy when it drops.
Where the MP7 | Army Recon came from
The Safehouse Collection with this skin came out in November 2013. The MP7 | Army Recon arrived in the same update. We have no Valve note and no author data for this finish.
What to check before buying
Before taking an MP7 | Army Recon, look at these points:
- Float: within 0.15 to 0.38 the MP7 | Army Recon changes by eye, so you choose a listing by the number, and the skin's scale starts at 0.06;
- stickers from a previous owner and a name tag on the MP7 | Army Recon;
- the paint tone on the stock corners and at the muzzle: this is how wear looks on this finish.
The pattern index on the MP7 | Army Recon changes nothing.
What the MP7 | Army Recon costs in Field-Tested
Factory New (FN) costs twice as much as FT. Minimal Wear (MW) is four percent cheaper, and Well-Worn (WW) costs the same: the difference is under three percent.
Of nine Consumer Grade MP7 skins with a price in this wear, the Army Recon is second from the bottom. Only Prey is lower, by four percent. Sunbaked, Short Ochre and Forest DDPAT cost the same. Groundwater, Olive Plaid, Asterion and Scorched sit above, and the dearest of them goes up tens of times over.
Getting the MP7 | Army Recon
The skin has no case. Copies came out of tournament souvenir packages: DreamHack 2013 and EMS One 2014. A trade-up will not help here, because a contract takes skins one rank lower as input, and Consumer Grade is the lowest in the collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MP7 | Army Recon has no StatTrak version, but a Souvenir version exists.
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Army Recon
A blotchy background without clear lines handles any sticker well. Dark stickers get lost on the olive and brown patches, while light, bright ones read at once. The bare barrel remains the evenest area.
Who this wear suits
Buying the MP7 | Army Recon in Field-Tested is right if at least one of these applies:
- you want a submachine gun in sandy camo for CS2 among the least expensive skins for this weapon;
- you choose by the float number, not by the pattern;
- you do not need FN: it costs twice as much, and the pattern is the same in every wear.
