The MP7 | Smoking Kills in Minimal Wear (MW) shows its side artwork in full, and the wear stops at the first light scuffs. It is a Classified skin from The Genesis Collection and drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. The finish exists in all five wears, so for CS2 you can pick any of them.
What the MP7 | Smoking Kills looks like in Minimal Wear
The base is a dark turquoise that borders on green. A pink-and-blue portrait of a girl in round glasses sits on the side of the receiver, with a yellow blocky inscription above her. White clouds of smoke run along the receiver cover and spill onto the barrel.
The foregrip is bright turquoise, the magazine and stock are purple, and a golden plate is fixed near the trigger guard. In this wear the MP7 | Smoking Kills carries a float of 0.07 to 0.15, which is 8% of the skin's scale from 0.00 to 1.00. The wear is set at the drop and never changes.
Where the MP7 | Smoking Kills came from
The finish was made by mpolous and 48. They named their Steam Workshop submission "Smoking_kills_v2" and posted it on March 29, 2025. In their words, this is a submachine gun that kills twice: the shot ruins at once, the cigarette slowly. They explain the smoke around the barrel as the dark side of the habit.
The MP7 | Smoking Kills arrived on September 16, 2025, when The Genesis Collection was added to the game. Valve built that collection from seventeen finishes by community authors. The finish carries Valve catalog number 1354.
What to check before buying
Two points count when you buy the MP7 | Smoking Kills:
- the stickers and name tag already on this particular MP7 | Smoking Kills;
- the version: a listing without a counter and a StatTrak™ one are different items at different prices.
The MP7 | Smoking Kills has just one artwork. Inside the 0.07 to 0.15 band there is no better copy to hunt for.
What the MP7 | Smoking Kills costs in Minimal Wear
Set against Minimal Wear, the neighboring wears come out like this:
- Factory New is about two and a quarter times the price;
- Field-Tested costs almost half as much;
- Well-Worn comes out about two and a half times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by more than three times.
Among Classified MP7s in this wear, this skin is the most expensive. MP7 | Abyssal Apparition and MP7 | Nemesis cost almost half as much.
Getting the MP7 | Smoking Kills
The MP7 | Smoking Kills drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. Beyond the case, a trade-up of ten skins one rank lower, all from the same collection, produces it. The collection holds three Classified skins, so the odds of landing this MP7 are one in three.
The MP7 itself feeds the trade-ups for the Covert AK-47 | The Oligarch and M4A4 | Full Throttle.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MP7 | Smoking Kills has a StatTrak™ version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up too, but no souvenir packages were released for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Smoking Kills
The portrait and lettering take up the side, so stickers compete with the artwork. The dark turquoise base gives white and yellow stickers contrast, while pink and blue ones blend into the portrait.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear is a sensible buy for the MP7 | Smoking Kills when:
- you want a submachine gun with intact artwork but no surcharge for Factory New;
- you want a price below the clean wear and above Field-Tested;
- you are putting together a turquoise-and-pink loadout for CS2.
