The MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone in Field-Tested (FT): a white SMG with a black and gray camouflage band across the middle of the receiver. Restricted rank, from the Sport & Field Collection. Float in this wear lies between 0.15 and 0.38, the widest band among the wears of the skin.
What the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone looks like in Field-Tested
The skin is built on a contrast of white and black. The base is milk white, and the camouflage is made of ragged horizontal strips of black and dark gray. They run across the central part of the receiver and do not reach the stock or the handguard.
There are two color accents. The magazine is dark blue with gray, and bright orange inserts pick out the safety, trigger and small buttons. The grip and the top of the receiver stay clean white.
A light base shows wear best: the closer the float is to 0.38, the more marks on the paint compared with 0.15. Wear is set at the drop, though, and a copy does not change after purchase.
Where the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone came from
The Sport & Field Collection reached the game in October 2024, and the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone arrived with the same update. Valve describes it as a Swiss-made weapon with white and blue blocks and camouflage in matching tones.
What to check before buying
Before paying for the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone, look at these things:
- float: inside 0.15 to 0.38 the gap between the top and the bottom is visible, so comparing listings is worthwhile;
- stickers left by the previous owner, and any rename of the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone;
- the white panels of the stock and handguard: wear shows best there.
The artwork is fixed and does not depend on the copy.
What the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone costs in Field-Tested
This is one of the cheaper wears of the skin. Factory New costs a little over twice as much, and Minimal Wear about 1.5 times as much. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit almost level with this wear, within a few percent.
Among Restricted MP9 skins this one stands in the middle of the row: three below, four above. MP9 | Urban Sovereign, MP9 | Ruby Poison Dart and MP9 | Goo cost less. MP9 | Mount Fuji and MP9 | Rose Iron cost more, pulling ahead by two to three times. The top of the row belongs to MP9 | Stained Glass and MP9 | Bulldozer.
Getting the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone
No CS2 case contains this skin. The route to it is a trade-up: ten skins of the rank below from the same collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone, and no Souvenir packages include it either.
Stickers and craft on the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone
The light base leaves plenty of room for stickers. Gold and red ones read well against the white of the stock, while dark ones look better beside the black and gray band on the receiver. For a light, clean loadout this SMG makes a fitting base: the orange details can be backed up with a single warm sticker.
Who this wear suits
Buying the MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone in this wear makes sense if one of these fits:
- you want a white camouflage SMG for CS2 at a modest price;
- the artwork matters more than flawless paint;
- you are ready to spend time choosing a listing: across 0.15 to 0.38, float decides how many wear marks you get.
If you want nearly untouched paint, Minimal Wear or Factory New is closer.
