This is the MP9 | Goo in Factory New (FN). Its slice of the scale here is 0.00 to 0.07, which is 12% of the paint's scale up to 0.60. It is a Restricted skin of The Spectrum 2 Collection and drops from the Spectrum 2 Case. A gray MP9 is splashed with white blobs and drips.
What the MP9 | Goo looks like in Factory New
The body is a dark gray-olive, and the magazine and stock are gray. The blobs are white and pale blue, with a dark outline. They are thicker on the upper receiver and the handguard and run down onto the side of the frame. The grip, the magazine and the collapsible stock are nearly clean.
The splotches are rounded, with drips and fine spatter, like spilled thick liquid. There is no rainbow shimmer in the paint. Valve calls the liquid tarry, but on the weapon itself the blobs are white and pale blue. In Factory New the paint is clean, with no signs of wear.
Where the MP9 | Goo came from
The Spectrum 2 Collection with this skin came out in September 2017. The MP9 | Goo arrived with the same update, alongside the other works of the set.
What to check before buying
On the MP9 | Goo, this is what varies from listing to listing:
- float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band is short, and the listings look alike;
- stickers on the body of the MP9 | Goo, and a rename if there is one.
There is no lucky pattern to hunt on the MP9 | Goo: it is always the same. Factory New fits into 0.00 to 0.07, so listings look identical.
What the MP9 | Goo costs in Factory New
This is the skin's priciest wear. The others cost less:
- Minimal Wear and Well-Worn cost about 2.8 times less;
- Field-Tested costs three times less;
- Battle-Scarred costs a little over three times less.
Among the nine Restricted MP9 skins, this one is the cheapest in this wear. Urban Sovereign costs slightly more, Ruby Poison Dart and Arctic Tri-Tone one and a half times more, Rose Iron two and a half times and Mount Fuji almost four times. Highest are Hypnotic, Stained Glass and Bulldozer, with Bulldozer costing hundreds of times more.
Getting the MP9 | Goo
The skin drops from the Spectrum 2 Case. A trade-up for the MP9 | Goo takes ten skins of the rank below, all from this collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MP9 | Goo has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages exist for it, but a Souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the MP9 | Goo
The gray-olive base with white blobs leaves clean fields on the grip, the magazine and the stock. Stickers there do not fight the artwork. White stickers merge with the white blobs, while dark and colored ones read best.
Who this wear suits
Buying the MP9 | Goo in Factory New is reasonable when at least one of these fits:
- you want an MP9 for CS2 with clean white goo and no scuffs;
- you want the cheapest Restricted MP9 within the 0.00 to 0.07 band;
- the clean grip, magazine and stock leave room for stickers, and that matters to you.
