Description

Negev | Mjölnir in Factory New (FN): a red machine gun for CS2 with Norse runes and carved ornament. The rank is Classified, and the skin belongs to the Norse Collection. The finish exists in all five wears, with the float stretching from 0.00 to 0.60. This wear is assigned a float of 0.00 to 0.07, about an eighth of the scale.

What the Negev | Mjölnir looks like in Factory New

The body of the machine gun is painted red with an orange cast. Brown panels with woven ornament and runes lie on the top cover and the handguard. The ammo box is red-orange, with yellow curls and signs. The barrel and sight parts are dark, and a red stripe runs along the barrel.

In Factory New the paint lies untouched: the ornament reads in full and the metal is not scuffed. Wear is set at drop and never changes afterward, so a listing stays within its band from 0.00 to 0.07.

Where the Negev | Mjölnir came from

Valve describes the finish this way: the machine gun is hand-painted red and decorated with Norse runes, and its caption reads "This is all Loki's fault…". The Norse Collection was released on November 19, 2019, and Negev | Mjölnir has been part of the set since launch.

The collection came out with Operation Shattered Web, and in Valve's note the Norse Collection is listed first among the four new weapon collections.

What to check before buying

Choosing a particular Negev | Mjölnir comes down to these points:

  • the spread from 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that choosing by float is pointless;

  • the pattern repeats from listing to listing without change;

  • the name tag and stickers, which go with the lot.

What the Negev | Mjölnir costs in Factory New

Minimal Wear costs 1.15 times as much, and Field-Tested is level with Factory New: the difference is under three percent.

By rank there is nothing to compare this machine gun with. Negev has no other Classified skins, and Mjölnir remains the only finish of its rank.

Getting the Negev | Mjölnir

Negev | Mjölnir does not appear in CS2 cases. A trade-up leads to it. To trade up into Negev | Mjölnir, you collect ten skins one step down from the same Norse Collection. These include AUG | Flame Jörmungandr, Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr and P90 | Astral Jörmungandr.

Beyond that, the skin leads on to AWP | Gungnir: ten Classified skins of the collection give one Covert.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Negev | Mjölnir has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages with this finish were released.

Stickers and craft on the Negev | Mjölnir

The finish is busy. A red-orange base and ornament run across the cover, handguard and box, with almost no flat free spots. Red and orange stickers merge with the body, while black, white and gold ones stay readable.

Who this wear suits

A Negev | Mjölnir in Factory New is worth buying for these reasons:

  • you want the red paint and the runes whole, with no signs of wear;

  • the float needs no choosing, because the whole band from 0.00 to 0.07 is narrow;

  • a CS2 loadout is built on red and orange, and a Classified machine gun from the Norse Collection gives it a bright center.
