This is the P2000 | Red Wing in Field-Tested (FT), and the red wedges on the slide are already touched at the corners. The float values here run from 0.15 to 0.38. Mil-Spec rank; the pistol belongs to The Genesis Collection and comes from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. The model is for the Counter-Terrorists only.
What the P2000 | Red Wing looks like in Field-Tested
The base is dark olive-gray, with black faceted inserts on the slide and frame. Glossy red wedges run along the top and the left side of the slide, and the base of the magazine glows red too. The grip is dark gray with fine texturing; the trigger, guard and sights are left as dark metal. A round emblem on the grip panel looks like a bird with an open wing, but the contrast of the artwork is low and it cannot be read with confidence.
The wedges end in sharp corners right at the edges of the slide, and the tips are what goes first. In this wear the front and rear edges of the slide are broken up, along with the edges of the serrations and the protrusion at the base of the magazine. The wide olive base is flat, and scuffs barely show on it, so wear reads as the red wedges getting shorter. The P2000 | Red Wing can be bought in this wear with varying amounts of wear, since the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide.
Where the P2000 | Red Wing came from
The artwork was made by an author who goes by RR3, who posted the Steam Workshop submission on February 2, 2024, under the working title "P2000 Deep Red". The P2000 | Red Wing is in The Genesis Collection, opened on September 16, 2025. In a post dated September 17, 2025, Valve specifically allowed players in Belgium, the Netherlands and France to open the terminal. In Valve's catalog the paint is number 1342.
What to check before buying
Before taking the P2000 | Red Wing, look at these points:
- the float: at 0.15 the wedges are intact along their whole length, at 0.38 their tips are already eaten away;
- the edge of the slide and the protrusion on the magazine: that is where the paint comes off earliest;
- the applied name and stickers: on the P2000 | Red Wing they stay with the listing.
The P2000 | Red Wing has no pattern variants, so there is nothing to choose by there.
What the P2000 | Red Wing costs in Field-Tested
Factory New costs about six times as much, Minimal Wear about two-thirds more. Below that the order gets messy: Well-Worn costs a little less, while Battle-Scarred is noticeably dearer than this wear.
It comes down to the scale of the sums. The whole lower end of this paint's range fits within a few cents. The order among the three worn wears rests on a couple of listings, not on a rule. Among Mil-Spec P2000 skins, this one sits near the bottom of the rank. Only P2000 | Lifted Spirits is cheaper, while P2000 | Grip Tape and P2000 | Urban Hazard cost more. For comparison, P2000 | Chainmail costs hundreds of times more in this wear.
Getting the P2000 | Red Wing
There is one route: open the Sealed Genesis Terminal or buy a ready listing. This paint cannot be built by a contract: Mil-Spec is the lowest rank in Genesis, and there is nothing to build it from.
The pistol itself does go into trade-ups, though: ten Mil-Spec skins from the set give one Restricted skin. The outcomes are M4A1-S | Liquidation, UMP-45 | Continuum, MAC-10 | Cat Fight and Nova | Ocular.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the P2000 | Red Wing
The P2000 | Red Wing has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were released for this paint: those were made only for tournament map collections. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player's autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. So the odd Souvenir copy turns up now and then even where no packages ever existed.
The pistol has little room, and the slide with its wedges takes up almost all of it. What remains for a sticker is the flat side of the frame above the trigger guard. Light and white stickers show best on the olive base, while red ones merge with the wedges. On the edges of the slide part of a sticker will wear off together with the paint.
Who this wear suits
Buying the P2000 | Red Wing in Field-Tested is worth it for three reasons:
- you want a dark Counter-Terrorist pistol with a red accent for CS2;
- the skin goes into play, where the condition of the edges cannot be made out;
- you need the paint as an input for a trade-up to the Restricted rank in CS2.
Near the upper limit of the band the red wedges are visibly shortened, so for a display, people pick a float closer to 0.15.
