The P250 | Cartel in Field-Tested (FT) lies on the float stretch from 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Classified skin from The Vanguard Collection that suits both sides in CS2: a black slide with a fine ornament and a chrome frame.
What the P250 | Cartel looks like in Field-Tested
The slide and grip are a deep black. The ornament on them is slightly darker than the background and shows only in the highlights. The barrel, the trigger and the front of the frame are polished chrome.
A patterned band runs along the lower part of the slide and the side of the frame, and the top of the slide is smooth. The ornament is fine, a scroll of curls. On the grip panel is a light calavera skull with flowers in its eye sockets, and the same mark repeats at the rear of the slide.
For Field-Tested, Valve set aside the middle of the scale, and the wear is more visible than in the higher wears. It is fixed when the skin drops.
Where the P250 | Cartel came from
The skin came out on November 12, 2014, when Valve launched Operation Vanguard. It comes out of the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case. By Valve's description, the skin is decorated with an engraving of skeletons and flowers, and its caption reads: "One little squeeze turns every morning into the Day of the Dead".
What to check before buying
- Float: here you choose within 0.15 to 0.38, and the difference between the top and the bottom of the stretch is visible.
- The condition of the chrome and the black coating on the listing itself.
- Stickers and an applied name: on the P250 | Cartel they go along with the listing.
What the P250 | Cartel costs in Field-Tested
Factory New costs 2.61 times more, and Minimal Wear 1.17 times more. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred each cost about five percent more.
Among Classified P250 skins it takes the middle of the row: four cost less and five cost more. Asiimov costs about a quarter more, Muertos a third more and Mehndi one and a half times more. Kintsugi and Epicenter are noticeably cheaper.
Getting the P250 | Cartel
The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case is where it comes from. The P250 | Cartel also comes out of a trade-up, into which ten skins of a lower rank are handed in.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The skin has a StatTrak version and no Souvenir version.
Stickers and craft on the P250 | Cartel
The black coating gives a dark background on which light stickers read clearly. The ornament is barely visible, so it does not get in the way of stickers. The chrome frame, though, reflects light and distracts from stickers placed on it.
