Description

The P250 | Franklin in Field-Tested (FT) shows hundred-dollar bills across the whole body, with wear already visible. In this wear the P250 | Franklin has a float of 0.15 to 0.38, and the finish's scale breaks off at 0.40, so the band takes up 57% of it. Classified rank; the pistol belongs to the Bank Collection.

What the P250 | Franklin looks like in Field-Tested

The slide, the frame and the grip are pasted over with overlapping hundred-dollar bills. The background is cream-white, with pale-green patterns and gray tones over it, and Franklin's portrait and the number 100 can be made out on the notes. There is no bright color on the body, and the whole look is built on a small repeating design.

In Field-Tested the wear shows along the edges of the slide, yet the portraits and the numbers still read. The wear is fixed at the drop, and the bills will not rub off any further.

Where the P250 | Franklin came from

The Bank Collection is mentioned in a Valve note of May 2, 2014, which added it to the drop list. Valve's description of the finish is a hydrographic of American hundred-dollar bills, with a caption that reads: "Money doesn't talk, it kills."

What to check before buying

Before taking a P250 | Franklin, look at these points:

  • the float: the number in the listing, anywhere from 0.15 to 0.38;

  • the edges of the slide, where wear on the small design shows earliest;

  • the name tag and the stickers this P250 | Franklin already carries.

The P250 | Franklin has no pattern variants, so there is nothing to choose by. In this wear it is a long 0.15 to 0.38 stretch, so comparing several listings is worth the effort.

What the P250 | Franklin costs in Field-Tested

The other wears, measured against this one:

  • Factory New is almost three times dearer;

  • Minimal Wear is dearer by about a half;

  • Well-Worn is more than twice as dear.

Well-Worn is dearer than Field-Tested despite looking worse. The finish's scale breaks off at 0.40, and Well-Worn gets only the stretch up to that ceiling, starting from 0.38. Battle-Scarred does not exist for this finish at all.

Among Classified P250 skins in this wear it is the cheapest finish. The nearest one above, the P250 | Visions, costs about two and a half times as much.

Getting the P250 | Franklin

The P250 | Franklin does not turn up in CS2 cases. Ten skins of the next rank down from this collection can be traded up for it. The Bank Collection has just one skin a rank below, the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe, so ten copies of it go into the contract. Among the Classified skins of the Bank Collection there is only the Franklin itself, so the result is known in advance. From here a contract does not lead upward.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the P250 | Franklin has been released. Souvenir copies do exist, but there were no packages for this finish, because those were made only for tournament map collections. Such copies are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the P250 | Franklin

The banknotes make a busy but pale background: red, black and blue stickers separate from the green, while green and cream ones merge with it. Small stickers get lost among the numbers and portraits, and large ones read well. For a money theme in CS2, this P250 fits directly.

Who this wear suits

Buying the P250 | Franklin in Field-Tested makes sense if at least one of these fits:

  • you want a money finish, and visible wear on the fine design does not bother you;

  • you want the cheapest Classified P250 in this wear;

  • a P250 in CS2 needs a pale, busy background for bright stickers.

If the wear bothers you, Minimal Wear costs one and a half times as much, and its float runs from 0.07 to 0.15.
