Description

The P250 | Kintsugi in Factory New (FN) carries an orange bird and gold seams on ivory, without a single scuff. The float scale here runs 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Classified skin, and the pistol comes from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. The name refers to the Japanese technique of filling cracks in pottery with gold.

What the P250 | Kintsugi looks like in Factory New

The pistol is dominated by a large orange-red bird: it lies across the slide and carries on into the frame, taking up nearly the whole visible side. The ground beneath it is ivory, crossed by thin gold lines: the seams, as though the thing had once cracked apart and been put back together. Cool blue patches join them on the grip, and the slide rails and trigger guard are finished in gold.

Factory New means more here than on a skin with a large flat pattern. The lines are narrow, and the whole build depends on their crispness: at a clean float the seams are continuous, with an even shine. The light ivory is still white, with no grayish film, and no metal shows through on the edge of the slide.

What to check before buying

Only two things matter on the P250 | Kintsugi:

  • the float: toward the top of the band, nearer 0.07, the gold seams begin to break;

  • the stickers and name tag left on the listing.

There is no pattern variance: the seams lie the same way on every copy.

The spread within the wear is small, 0.00 to 0.07, so listings look almost identical.

What the P250 | Kintsugi costs in Factory New

The price gap to the other wears looks like this:

  • Minimal Wear is about half the price;

  • Field-Tested is about four times cheaper;

  • Well-Worn costs about a quarter as much, which is almost the same as Field-Tested;

  • Battle-Scarred is about five and a half times cheaper.

This happens with fine-line skins: intact seams and a white base are paid for separately. The two lower wears cost almost the same, so Well-Worn is not worth choosing.

Getting the P250 | Kintsugi

The P250 | Kintsugi comes from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, which is what defines the collection. The Dead Hand Collection came out on March 11, 2026.

The other route is the trade-up contract. It takes ten Restricted skins from the set, for example Desert Eagle | Firebreathing, MP7 | Amberline or M4A1-S | Electrum. The output is any one of the set's three Classified skins. The result is random: the chance of landing the Kintsugi is one in three.

For Factory New, though, this route is closed. The float of the result is calculated from the inputs, and gathering ten near-pristine Restricted skins costs more than buying a finished pistol. The Kintsugi itself goes into trade-ups upward as the cheapest of the three Classified skins. There is no gain in it, though: ten of them cost more than the average Covert skin in the set.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the P250 | Kintsugi

The P250 | Kintsugi has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist as well, but no packages were released for it: those were made only for tournament map collections. Those copies are made with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

The light base with gold seams is a neat background, but a demanding one. Gold stickers argue with it, because the body already carries gold. Black and dark blue stickers give the right contrast and do not break the pattern. Small stickers get lost among the seams, so people choose large ones. A clean Factory New copy is what gets bought for an expensive craft.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is the right place to buy the P250 | Kintsugi when:

  • you want unbroken gold seams, not interrupted ones;

  • you are preparing a base for a tidy sticker build in CS2;

  • you are collecting a set in white and gold for CS2.

The downside is obvious: the P250 is rarely in anyone's hands, and nobody will make out a thin pattern in a fight. The Factory New premium is justified for a display, not for play.
