Description

P250 | Plum Netting in Factory New (FN): the purple netting is whole across the slide, and the grip corners have not gone pale yet. Taking the P250 | Plum Netting in this grade means a float between 0.00 and 0.07. The rank is Consumer Grade, and the finish belongs to The Ascent Collection, which the game hands out for a week of play.

What the P250 | Plum Netting looks like in Factory New

The base is dark olive, almost black, under a lilac-purple net with pinkish patches. The pattern covers slide, frame and grip without a break and looks the same across the whole area. Only at the muzzle and on the trigger guard do the cells crowd closer. The magazine stays in the same palette, with no separate figures on the body. The cells are elongated and look like scales up close, and factory lettering shows through the net on the slide.

In Factory New there are no pale spots at all: the net holds on the slide edge and on the grip corners, which lighten first. The scale allots this grade only 0.00 to 0.07, so copies resemble one another. The finish's own scale stops at 0.60, so truly wrecked examples never occur.

Where the P250 | Plum Netting came from

The Ascent Collection entered the game on March 31, 2025, and this finish came with the set. The author is Valve itself, with no outside artist behind the finish. In Valve's catalog the artwork carries number 1273. The item description keeps the story short: a purple and black lace pattern laid through a stencil.

Pattern and how it varies

The stencil lands with an offset, so the pattern index is rolled here. Two copies at the same float set their cells differently. On one the rows run straight along the slide, on another they slant off and gather by the guard. A clean grade shows this best, since wear has not yet smeared the artwork.

What to check before buying

A P250 | Plum Netting listing is picked by these signs:

  • the float inside 0.00 to 0.07: pale corners on the grip do not occur in that stretch;

  • how the net fell on the particular copy, since the rows are visible in the listing image;

  • what the previous owner left on the P250 | Plum Netting: stickers and an applied name.

What the P250 | Plum Netting costs in Factory New

This pistol asks a few cents in all five grades, and Factory New comes in below the other four. Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred run about three times higher, Field-Tested about four. At sums like these the gap is one cent, and the order between the grades is accidental.

Among Consumer Grade P250 finishes this one is the cheapest, level with P250 | Copper Oxide. Next come P250 | Facility Draft and P250 | Sleet at roughly four times the money. The top of the rank is held by P250 | Boreal Forest, P250 | Forest Night and P250 | Mint Kimono.

Getting the P250 | Plum Netting

No CS2 case contains the P250 | Plum Netting. The whole Ascent set comes as a weekly drop, with no keys and nothing to open.

A contract will not build this finish: it sits at the bottom of the collection, with nothing below it to gather. As an input it works, since ten Consumer Grade skins from the collection trade up into one Industrial Grade skin.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the P250 | Plum Netting

No StatTrak version of the P250 | Plum Netting was ever released. Souvenir copies do turn up, but no Souvenir packages were made for this finish: packages only ever covered tournament map collections. Those copies are built with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory.

The dark base under the net takes light stickers better than dark ones: a white or yellow logo reads, a black one merges. Flat room sits on the frame under the slide and on the rear of the slide. The pistol costs next to nothing, so players try on it the builds they would not risk on an expensive body.

Who this wear suits

Buying the P250 | Plum Netting here makes sense on these terms:

  • a pistol for CS2 is wanted for a few cents;

  • the net has to be whole on the slide edge and the grip corners;

  • the stencil layout is chosen from the listing image.

Overpaying for a clean copy is not possible here: Factory New is the cheapest of the five renditions, and the whole spread is measured in cents.
