The P250 | Visions in Field-Tested (FT) wears an iridescent paint job of winding leaves and curls across the whole body. It is a Classified skin from The Recoil Collection, and in CS2 the pistol is available to both teams.
What the P250 | Visions looks like in Field-Tested
A dense ornament of curling stems and leaves covers the body. The colors shift along the pattern: emerald and turquoise give way to golden olive, with violet and pink inserts showing here and there. The trigger stays silver. Valve calls the artwork brightly painted.
The Field-Tested band for the P250 | Visions runs from 0.15 to 0.38. The ornament is solid and fine-grained, so wear barely registers on it and the pattern stays whole. A copy's float stays exactly what it was at the drop.
Where the P250 | Visions came from
The finish arrived in summer 2022 with the Recoil Case. In its post "A New Cassssssse," Valve says the case holds 17 finishes by community artists. The tagline on this P250 reads "One crow short of a murder."
What to check before buying
When choosing a P250 | Visions, buyers look at the following:
- float: the 0.15 to 0.38 band covers almost a third of this skin's scale, which runs to 0.70;
- an applied name tag and stickers, which stay with the listing on the P250 | Visions.
Pattern index changes nothing on the P250 | Visions. In this wear the skin is simply a band from 0.15 to 0.38, and listings from opposite ends of that band look different.
What the P250 | Visions costs in Field-Tested
The other wears, measured against Field-Tested:
- Factory New costs about twice as much;
- Minimal Wear costs about a quarter more;
- Well-Worn sits level, with a difference of under three percent;
- Battle-Scarred costs about a fifth less.
Among Classified P250s in this wear, the P250 | Visions is second from the bottom: only P250 | Franklin is cheaper. Next up are P250 | Epicenter and P250 | Kintsugi, while P250 | Asiimov and P250 | Cartel cost more than three times as much. The most expensive are P250 | Apep's Curse, P250 | Undertow and P250 | Mehndi.
Getting the P250 | Visions
The skin drops from the Recoil Case.
It can also be made by trade-up, with ten skins of the rank below going in. Fed with the Restricted skins of The Recoil Collection, the contract leads to one of three Classified skins. The P250 | Visions itself works as an input toward a Covert, either AWP | Chromatic Aberration or USP-S | Printstream. Of the collection's Classified finishes, it is the cheapest entry.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The P250 | Visions has a StatTrak™ version. No souvenir packages were ever issued for this finish, because those were made only for tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts golden tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin.
Stickers and craft on the P250 | Visions
The ornament is dense and bright, so the body has almost no free background. Large, plain stickers with a clear shape read better on it than small, multicolored ones. Gold and green stickers blend into the pattern, while white and black ones stand out.
Who this wear suits
Field-Tested is worth choosing for the P250 | Visions in three cases:
- you want an iridescent ornament where wear hardly interferes with the artwork;
- price matters, since Factory New costs twice as much;
- you want the cheapest way into a trade-up for a Covert skin among the collection's Classified finishes.
