The P250 | X-Ray in Factory New (FN) is the cleanest of the three wears this finish comes in, with a float from 0.00 to 0.07. There are only three because the float ceiling sits at 0.30. It is Restricted rank, and its collection, The X-Ray Collection, holds no other skin.
What the P250 | X-Ray looks like in Factory New
Valve calls the finish a custom paint job that shows the P250's internals, as on an X-ray photograph. Factory New gets the band 0.00 to 0.07, roughly a quarter of a scale that ends at 0.30.
A copy's float is set when it drops, so a Factory New listing keeps its paint almost untouched. The artwork is shared by every copy, and there is no special variant to hunt for.
Where the P250 | X-Ray came from
The skin sits in the X-Ray P250 Package, which, by Valve's description, holds the only painted P250 with its internals on show. The same X-ray idea exists on an AK-47 as well, but that one belongs to The Havoc Collection.
What to check before buying
A few points are worth settling before you buy the P250 | X-Ray:
- the float: anything from 0.00 to 0.07 is possible;
- the stickers and name tag already on this copy of the P250 | X-Ray;
- the counter: the skin has a StatTrak version, and it is found on a separate page.
In this wear the P250 | X-Ray offers a tight band of 0.00 to 0.07, and the difference between listings is hard to catch.
What the P250 | X-Ray costs in Factory New
- Minimal Wear costs 1.44 times less;
- Field-Tested costs 1.79 times less.
Among Restricted P250s this skin is the cheapest in this wear. The next one up by price, Nevermore, costs about three times as much.
Getting the P250 | X-Ray
A trade-up contract cannot produce the P250 | X-Ray: its collection holds a single skin, and there is no lower rank in it.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Who this wear suits
The P250 | X-Ray has a StatTrak™ version. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish: they were made only for the map collections of tournaments. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why single Souvenir copies occasionally turn up even where packages never existed.
Buying the P250 | X-Ray in Factory New makes sense if:
- you want a P250 for CS2 with untouched paint rather than a worn one;
- you want the best of the skin's three wears, since nothing sits above Factory New;
- the gap of 1.44 times to Minimal Wear is justified by the looks.
