The P90 | Asiimov in Minimal Wear (MW) has a float of 0.07 to 0.15, the lightest wear after Factory New. Factory New costs 1.21 times as much, while the three lower wears are only 1.07 to 1.12 times cheaper. It holds Covert rank and belongs to The Breakout Collection.
What the P90 | Asiimov looks like in Minimal Wear
Orange details divide the white body of the submachine gun into zones. An orange rail runs along the top together with the sights, stripes lie along the sides, and at the rear cut sits a wide orange diagonal with a black wedge. Small black icons and arrows on the white give the artwork a technical look. The skin looks like a piece of science fiction, just as Valve promises.
In Minimal Wear the white surface is still clean, and the wear is barely noticeable. It starts on the edges and around the grip, where the white turns grayish, though the orange stripes stay bright. The float is fixed at drop, so a listing will not change.
Where the P90 | Asiimov came from
The artwork is by Coridium, whose submission "P90 - ASIIMOV" appeared in the Steam Workshop on December 19, 2013. In it the author calls the design the ninth in the Asiimov series of finishes and thanks the community for its support. The Breakout Collection came out on July 1, 2014, and the P90 | Asiimov has been in the set since release. Its Valve catalog number is 359.
What to check before buying
A listing of the P90 | Asiimov is chosen by these signs:
- float: the band of 0.07 to 0.15 is short, and the difference between listings disappears into the margin of error;
- the name and stickers the previous owner left on the submachine gun;
- the gray haze on the white body, which in this wear is only hinted at.
The artwork is fixed, so price never depends on pattern.
What the P90 | Asiimov costs in Minimal Wear
The ratios between wears:
- Factory New costs 1.21 times as much;
- Field-Tested is 1.07 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is 1.08 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 1.12 times cheaper.
The upper step of the ladder is the widest, and below it the price barely moves. Of the two Covert P90s with a price in this wear, this skin costs more: the P90 | Death by Kitty is worth about half as much.
Getting the P90 | Asiimov
This skin comes from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case. A contract for the P90 | Asiimov takes ten skins one rank down from the same set. Breakout holds two Covert skins, so the result is one of two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the P90 | Asiimov exists in the game. No souvenir packages were released for this finish, but you can make a souvenir copy yourself. The Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from your inventory.
Stickers and craft on the P90 | Asiimov
The body is light, so dark stickers show at once while light ones blend into the background. Orange stickers get lost against the orange inserts. There is room on the side and nearer the barrel, and a craft there does not interfere with the artwork.
Who this wear suits
Buying the P90 | Asiimov in this wear makes sense if:
- you want a white submachine gun for CS2 with an almost clean body;
- the Factory New premium of 1.21 times is not something you need;
- it matters that the gray haze on the white barely reads.
