Description

The Sawed-Off | Analog Input in Field-Tested (FT) sits mid-scale, where the matte black lacquer is already touched by light scratches while the colored stripes are still bright. In this wear the Sawed-Off | Analog Input has a float of 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Restricted skin: the sawed-off is a terrorist-side weapon and belongs to The Kilowatt Collection.

What the Sawed-Off | Analog Input looks like in Field-Tested

The barrel, forend and stock are covered in matte black lacquer with red trim: a red muzzle, red inserts and a red stock edge. Four diagonal stripes run through the middle of the gun, in yellow, green, blue and red. They carry the letters X, Y, B and A, like the buttons of a game controller.

In Field-Tested the light scratches on the black lacquer are most visible at the edges of the barrel and stock, while the colored stripes in the middle keep their saturation. The contrast between the dark body and the bright middle remains the main thing about the finish.

In this wear the Sawed-Off | Analog Input spans 0.15 to 0.38, where nearly clean bodies and visibly worn ones both turn up. That is 37% of the finish's scale, whose ceiling is 0.62.

What to check before buying

Worth checking before you pay for the Sawed-Off | Analog Input:

  • the float: on black lacquer, the difference between the ends of the band shows in the number of light scratches;

  • the four colored stripes, which should read whole, with a letter on each;

  • the stickers and name tag already on this Sawed-Off | Analog Input.

There is no point searching the Sawed-Off | Analog Input by pattern index, because the artwork does not change.

What the Sawed-Off | Analog Input costs in Field-Tested

Compared with Field-Tested, the other wears run like this:

  • Factory New is about three times the price of this one;

  • Minimal Wear costs about two fifths more;

  • Well-Worn is cheaper by a few percent;

  • Battle-Scarred costs the same.

Among Restricted Sawed-Offs in this wear, the finish is the cheapest. Sawed-Off | Apocalypto costs almost double, Limelight almost four times, Highwayman more than four, and Serenity almost six. The top of the row is Orange DDPAT, which costs more than forty times as much.

Getting the Sawed-Off | Analog Input

The Sawed-Off | Analog Input drops from the Kilowatt Case, and no other CS2 case holds this finish. It arrived on February 6, 2024, when The Kilowatt Collection was added to the game. In the release note, Valve calls the case a set of seventeen finishes created by the community.

Besides the case, a trade-up of ten skins one rank lower from the same collection yields it. The odds on this finish are one in five, since there are five Restricted skins in the collection. The finish itself goes on into the trade-up for Classified: M4A1-S | Black Lotus, Zeus x27 | Olympus or USP-S | Jawbreaker.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Sawed-Off | Analog Input has a StatTrak™ version. No souvenir packages were released for this finish, because those were made only for the tournament map collections. You can still build a souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from your inventory. That is why a stray souvenir copy occasionally turns up even where no packages ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the Sawed-Off | Analog Input

The black lacquer on the barrel and stock is the quietest background, and stickers of any color read clearly there. The middle with its four colored stripes is overloaded, and one sticker too many turns it into a motley blotch.

Every copy carries the same artwork, so a craft for this sawed-off is built on the controller colors. Stickers in yellow, green, blue and red repeat the stripes and look like a single set.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Sawed-Off | Analog Input in Field-Tested is right if at least one of these fits:

  • you want the most affordable Restricted Sawed-Off;

  • the colored stripes with letters matter more than untouched black lacquer;

  • in CS2 you want a terrorist-side shotgun that attracts with color rather than severity.

If untouched black lacquer is what you need, look at Factory New, where the price is about three times higher.
