Sawed-Off | Runoff (Minimal Wear)

Sawed-Off | Runoff in Minimal Wear (MW) is a Consumer Grade sawed-off with a wooden forend and a dark blue-violet receiver. For this wear the Sawed-Off | Runoff has a float of 0.07 to 0.15. The skin's full scale goes up to 0.78, so MW takes about a tenth of the range. The skin belongs to the Ascent Collection, and no cases contain it.

What the Sawed-Off | Runoff looks like in Minimal Wear

The forend and the stock are finished to look like warm reddish wood, with crosswise ribs on the forend. The receiver is dark blue-violet, with barely visible vertical streaks, while the barrel and the magazine tube are dark gray. By Valve's description, the parts are lightly color case hardened over charcoal at a high temperature.

In Minimal Wear the wear is only beginning: the metal edges and the seam of the receiver have already been touched. Wear is fixed at the drop, and lost paint cannot be brought back. The wooden parts remain the main patch of color.

Where the Sawed-Off | Runoff came from

The Ascent Collection came out on March 31, 2025, and the Sawed-Off | Runoff has been part of the set since release. In the notes to that update Valve wrote that the Ascent, Boreal and Radiant collections were added to the weekly playtime reward list. The Ascent is on that list.

What to check before buying

Before buying the Sawed-Off | Runoff, a few points are worth checking:

• float: the band from 0.07 to 0.15 is tight on the Sawed-Off | Runoff, and the extreme listings differ only by the number;


• stickers and a name tag already on this particular copy of the Sawed-Off | Runoff.

What the Sawed-Off | Runoff costs in Minimal Wear

Factory New costs more than Minimal Wear by only a few percent. Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are level with it, differing by less than 3 percent.

Among Consumer Grade sawed-offs, the Runoff is the cheapest in this wear. Crimson Batik costs almost a third more, Forest DDPAT more than a third more, and Parched one and a half times as much. Sage Spray costs four times as much, Jungle Thicket more than twenty times, and Bamboo Shadow and Irradiated Alert about fifty times.

Getting the Sawed-Off | Runoff

The Sawed-Off | Runoff does not appear in CS2 cases. The Ascent Collection is on the weekly playtime reward list. A contract cannot produce this sawed-off: Consumer Grade is the lowest rank in the collection, and a trade-up returns a skin one rank above its inputs.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the Sawed-Off | Runoff does not exist. No Souvenir packages exist for this finish either, but a souvenir copy can be built through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the Sawed-Off | Runoff

Two large surfaces give different backgrounds: light stickers show better on the dark receiver, and dark ones on the wooden forend.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear is worth buying for the Sawed-Off | Runoff for these reasons:

• you want the cheapest Consumer Grade sawed-off for CS2 with a wooden forend;


• you want a higher wear while paying the price of the lower wears;


• you need a skin from the Ascent Collection, which came out in 2025.
