The Shanghai 2024 Champions Autograph Capsule is the shortest of that tournament's autograph capsules. It holds one random sticker out of twenty: the signatures of the five players on the winning team, each in four finishes.
What's inside the capsule
The roster is fixed: chopper, magixx, donk, sh1ro and zont1x. The capsule art shows them signing in gold lines against the white Team Spirit dragon, with a large Champion banner above.
Each autograph comes in paper, Glitter, Holo and Gold. Five players in four finishes give twenty entries.
You get one sticker per capsule. Valve does not publish odds by finish, so there are no percentages, and you should not assume they are even.
The stickers in this capsule are gold in tone. The warm signatures with a black outline read well on both a light and a dark gun. The Chinese characters beside the names magixx and donk are left in as part of the signature.
Where the Shanghai 2024 Champions Autograph Capsule came from
It was released for the 2024 Shanghai major and dedicated to the winners of the tournament. Each autograph became a sticker in its own right.
Half of the sales revenue went to the players and organizations. The split among recipients was never officially disclosed.
From the Cologne 2026 major, Valve stopped producing tournament capsules and moved to a token store. Capsules released before that remain in circulation, and no new ones will come.
Opening the capsule
The capsule needs no key. It opens on its own, and you pay only for the capsule.
An autograph goes on any firearm. Each gun has five sticker slots, and position and rotation are free. Knives and gloves are closed to stickers.
Sticker wear is added by hand and cannot be reversed, and at the last step the autograph vanishes from the weapon. This has nothing to do with the gun's own wear. A sticker like this gives no gameplay advantage in CS2.
What the Shanghai 2024 Champions Autograph Capsule costs
It has twenty entries, against a hundred and sixty in the Legends and Contenders capsules. The set is narrow, and each entry takes up more of it. Your chance of landing a specific player is higher than in the large autograph capsules, but the odds by finish remain unknown.
The money in this capsule sits in the Holo and Gold versions, while paper and Glitter set the floor. You might buy it for the draw, or as a sealed copy for a collection.
The supply is closed: the champions capsule will not be topped up.
